THE TROUBLE WITH MEMORIES

Helium toads!

Lieutenant Lucy Borasco has her phase pistol ready and her ex-boyfriend in her sights. She has every intention of making him pay for choosing his career over her. But she hadn’t factored in a Martian sneak invasion, Cal’s incessant need to save the universe, or the risk of permanent damage to her complexion. Getting Cal back will cost her more than she thinks, leaving her changed forever.

Captain California Sykes’ memories are gone, his career is in ruins, and his ex-girlfriend nearly kills him with a kiss. Can he overcome the Martian invasion, save the rest of the team and win Lucy back again in the process? Or will his seat-of-the-pants plans and the canned fish rations cost him everything he holds dear, including his sanity?

My latest Science Fiction Romance release from Decadent Publishing is a fun, wild ride. It’s a story about an android special agent who falls in love with the woman he’s supposed to protect. She doesn’t like mechanoids, but slowly falls for him despite learning her father made him especially for her!

DOWNLOAD MY LOVE

Security Core agent Everett is assigned a special case—protect the daughter of Simon Gold, the father of modern mechanoid life. To ensure her survival, Everett’s given a special EMO upgrade, and can experience love for the first time. He’s soon head over heels and the super-charged sexual attraction threatens to fry his circuits while he fights to stay one step ahead of the bad guys.

Samantha Gold detests her father’s work. She’s an off-the-grid back-to-lander who wants to keep life simple with her cows and her crops. When her father dies and inadvertently transfers a secret code to a hidden receptor in her brain, it’s only android Agent Everett who can protect her. Can she ever forgive her father for creating Everett—a man so perfect for her that he even loves her cows?

Yes, you read that right. Samantha loves her cows. Who can blame her? Certainly not Everett. He loves Samantha and therefore, he learns to love her cows too.

EXCERPT:

   “My house is gone?”
   He nodded.
   “My crops?”
   “Those, too.”
“What about my cows?” she wailed.
He cocked his head and re-checked the feed. “Bovine life forms were unaccounted for in the initial data provided.”
“Then how am I going to get milk? How will I survive off the grid? I don’t go to the grocery store.” With hands on her hips she glared at him as though she considered this a life-and-death matter and the whole situation was entirely his fault.
He blinked. Suddenly the picture came into focus. Anti-technology. Tree-hugging. Back-to-lander. Bingo. While he considered the news, she bolted for the door. He caught her easily before her hand reached the control panel and held her in the safety of his embrace. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“I have to go check on my cows! Get off me you big metal goon.” She slapped his chest.
The sudden rush spearing through him from holding her in his arms deflated. She felt so warm, so soft, and her hair smelled clean as polished bushings right off the assembly line. Her proximity stirred a brand new desire within him almost as hot as her temper. But her snarled insult raked him bare. How could he tell her how much her words had hurt? These feelings were all so new to him…. “Look, Miss Gold, I—”
She threw her hands in the air. “Would you stop that? Stop calling me Miss Gold. You sound like…like one of those damn mechanoid parking lot attendants. God, I hate those things.”
The side of his mouth quirked into a smirk. “They are rather dull conversationalists.”
She shoved at his chest again. “I don’t care. I said, let. Me. Go.”
He shook his head, amused at her girlish lack of strength which he found charming and utterly feminine. But her weakness only drove home in him the need to protect her. He found himself strangely unwilling to let her go. “I’m sorry, I can’t do what you ask. The men after you are still out there.”
“Why should you care if they want to take me away to some prison camp for the deranged?”
He raised an eyebrow. “Deranged? Miss Gold, I’ve been assigned to protect you. In fact, I—”
She rolled her eyes. “But you’re not even human. Just like the goons chasing me.”
“I’m the perfect person for the job, Miss Gold. I’m programmed to do whatever it takes to protect you. Even if I have to die in the process.”

Android problem #1 - Keeping Track of Your Penis

by Eva Lefoy

I love Red Dwarf, the BBC space comedy and have been a fan for many years (back when I used to buy cable TV). Ah, the good old days. I’ve watched it so much that each character has at one time or another been a favorite: Cat, Lister, Rimmer and the android, Kryton. Each have their own plusses and minuses. Cat has coolness, Lister has…well he’s human, Rimmer is hilarious, I happen to think Chris Barrie has near-perfect comedic timing, and Kryton has, in addition to his many handy cleaning abilities, a detachable penis.
Yes, I said detachable penis.
I know, you’re probably still gaga over his love of doing laundry – what lady wouldn’t like a guy with a passion for cleaning?  - and also his exploding, but conveniently replaceable head, but consider for a moment his penis.
In Series VII the episodes Pete I and II, are the first time we see “Archie,” Kryton’s detachable penis. It runs away from Kryton and ends up underneath the bunks. He and female crewmember Kochanski try to capture it, but it escapes. Kochanski tells Kryton that now he’s just like a “real” man, since he has absolutely no control over his penis!
Which makes Kryton one very happy android…
In Download My Love, I couldn’t help giving our hero, android Agent Everett, a detachable penis. No, it doesn’t run away, but it’s awfully handy at times for the heroine, Samantha. Luckily, the unit is fully operational when not attached, and appears to have a long battery life. Samantha rather likes it, and I hope you do too!

Can she ever forgive her father for creating Everett—a man so perfect for her that he even loves her cows?

EXCERPT:
She raised a hand and touched her lips. They still tingled from Everett’s strangely possessive kiss. Why had he kissed her? And why were his lips so pliant and warm? Weren’t robots supposed to be stiff and cold? But his lips weren’t. They’d heated her insides to the melting point in the few seconds they’d touched mouths. His arms were warm, too. They’d held her securely when she began to faint and she’d been grateful for their protection at the time. Now she didn’t know what to think.
She lay on her back and stared at the ceiling. Nothing about this day made sense. She wished to be home in her simple hut with her cows and her vegetables where she belonged. The life she had chosen to make a point to her father that humans were meant to live off the land. After the coming technology collapse, which she believed would happen regardless of what her father and his cronies said, humans would need to go back to the old ways and she’d be ready to help them along. Unless the bad guys killed her today.
Shivering, she wrapped her arms around herself and curled into a ball on top of the covers. Everett had suggested she get some sleep. The hell. She was way too freaked out, stressed, and wound up for sleep to happen. But Everett’s plan of course made sense. They’d be on the run in the morning wouldn’t they? She forced herself up.
“Maybe I can find something to help me sleep.” She wandered into the adjacent bathroom and opened the medicine cabinet expecting to find a sleeping aid. Instead, she found a dildo. “What the…?”
There it stood, proudly erect and alone on the shelf. Nothing else in the entire cabinet. Weird. What’s it doing here? She glanced behind her, though nobody was there watching. Seeing the thing sitting there all by itself made her a teensy bit uncomfortable. Had the thing been used?
She shook her head. I must be way too sheltered. Living on the farm has isolated me from modern man. Perhaps this is what normal citizens did to relax and she needed to follow the crowd on this one. She captured her bottom lip with her top teeth and puzzled. Well…she’d heard orgasms had relaxing properties, and her lips were still tingling from Everett’s kiss. Would it hurt to try?
“This is crazy. A crazy end to an awful day,” she said, taking the unit out of the cabinet and heading back to the bed. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”

See what happens to Samantha and Everett as human and android come to terms with the fact they were made for each other in Download My Love, out now from Decadent Publishing!

Thanks for reading,

The Martians are Coming!

By Eva Lefoy

The Trouble with Memories
Martian Mating – Book 1

No, I’m not Orson Welles and this isn’t War of the Worlds and it certainly isn’t 1938 anymore. But the Martian invasion in my story is very, very real to the characters. You see, there’s this crazy scientist named Dr. Dravis who invents a psy-link pilots can use to interface directly with their ship. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him, but the pilots who use the psy-link are gonna have a wild ride!

Some say DNA is the real “being” here on this planet. The one who keeps everything evolving and we are just pawns in its ever-changing game. Us hapless humans! And it’s the DNA Dr. Dravis uses that puts the Martians front-and-center in the tale. You see, the Martian DNA has a virus and once that virus gets into the human host, funny things start to happen.

Our hero – a hapless human! – Captain California Sykes, is an ace pilot, a real alpha male kind of guy. But then this sultry Martian woman gets into his head via the psy-link and bam! He’s blowing up the Mars Base in the name of Martian sovereignty! Er…oops.

The scientists try to help him out, by removing the psy-unit – and his memories – to keep him chilled out. Trouble is, his girlfriend Lucy isn’t used to being ignored. And when Cal starts remembering what he’s forgotten, the trouble really heats up!

Blurb:

Lieutenant Lucy Borasco has her phase pistol ready and her ex-boyfriend in her sights. She has every intention of making him pay for choosing his career over her. But she hadn’t factored in a Martian sneak invasion, Cal’s incessant need to save the universe, or the risk of permanent damage to her complexion. Here’s a snippet:

The windows flexed and the floor rumbled as the jets did another close fly-by. He ignored them in favor of intently ogling the rounded globes of Lucy’s ass. When she spun to face him, he nearly lost his balance.
Three steps later, she was in his face. He braced himself for her wrath.
Her fingers curled around his collar nice and tight. When she gave him a light shake, his head whipped back and forth. Maybe she was trying to rattle some sense back into his malfunctioning brain. “Comet tails, Cal. If this is some game you’re playing to make me miss you, I swear I’ll fill your ass with helium and shoot you out one of those planes!”
He loved how the fire in her eyes matched her hair and the way she jutted out her chin at the end of her pronouncement. But he’d told her the truth. This was no game. His memories of her were completely gone. “How can I prove to you I’m not lying?”
Her lips curled up in a smirk. “Kiss me.”
With a confident toss of her head she laid claim to him, answering his questions about how he’d known her. Hell, he hadn’t known her, apparently he’d known her. The news made his dick swell with pride. His mouth quirked into a cocky smile.
“Come on, Cal. Today’s Valentine’s Day after all.” Her hands caressed his neck, working their way up his jaw. “One little goodbye kiss won’t hurt.”
Her touch confused him. Familiar yet foreign. New sensations and ghostly memories rose toward the surface of his mind but were squashed before they reached the light. He shook his head but the cobwebs didn’t clear. Why couldn’t he remember? Everything but those fragging ships seemed vague.
A twinge in his right shoulder shot up his neck, and he couldn’t help thinking the pain was a warning. He braced for more, but none immediately came. He wanted out of this box, wanted answers. But he wouldn’t endanger anyone else to get them.
“Lucy.” His voice sounded hoarse, as if he’d sucked sand into his windpipe. “Don’t.” Down below, his cock begged, yes, yes, yes.

An Out of Place Interview

Out of Place Mate available HERE
**explicit language**

by Eva LeFoy

Welcome, Rebecca Royce! We have some questions for you about your steamy Edge series book, Out of Place Mate!

When we first meet Sean, he's upset. He thinks his two brothers aren't focused enough on their work and have possibly been railroaded into marriage by a couple of gold diggers. He's also making not-very-nice comments about shifters--in a bar full of them! Doh! But when Victoria drags him off, he doesn't seem to mind too much. What is it about Victoria that attracts him right off?

Well, she’s a beautiful woman and although he doesn’t know it yet, he is her mate.  There is something about her that draws him and he can’t help but be completely taken with her. Even though he’s really annoyed with his brothers.

It's not too long before Victoria has him thinking with his cock. Why is there such a disconnect between Sean's head and his body? He's almost open mouth - insert foot! But his body responds to Victoria as if he was made for her.

He was made for her, literally. Why is there a disconnect?  Well, he’s really, really attracted to her, and Gunther’s bar is a place where that kind of magic seems to take place.

When Sean sees her naked, what does the sight trigger in him? What place does it touch?

The protective side. The side that has him rushing into a bar ready to do battle for his brothers, is that same side that makes him want to keep Victoria safe, keep her his forever.

How hard is it for Victoria to let him see her that way? Why does she, knowing how Sean thinks of shifters already? Victoria thinks Sean is an alpha male of a lover. I can see hints of this. Tell us, if Sean wanted to go all alpha lover on her, what would he do?

Oh, its really hard and made more difficult since he is human and she doesn’t trust them. I don’t know if I can say in a PG forum what he would do! LOL

I think part of being an Alpha lover is being very protective of your partner/mate.  I think he would make sure she was really sexually satisfied and comfortable all the time.

They seem like two of sides of the same soul. Were they both searching, always for the other half?

Yes. They belong together.

Why does Sean still smell like sandalwood and why didn't he change out of his tux?

He didn’t change out of his tux because he was so focused on getting to his brothers that he never had the time and as for the sandalwood, I think we all have our unique scents and that one is his.

Is he going to ride again now? I mean, besides Victoria : )

Ha! Maybe.

I won't say what Victoria does to Sean at the end, but...was she just as surprised as he was?

Completely surprised.  But Gunther’s Bar was very good to that family….

Thanks for sharing this one! It's a great sexy short.

Space Opera, Cowboys and M/M lovin’ at Decadent Publishing!

By Eva LeFoy
Congratulations to Decadent Publishing which recently put out its 200th book in the 1Night Stand series. 200 books in a series not only means the series is popular with readers, but also with writers, too. And the good stories just keep on coming! I’ve only been published with Decadent about 8 months but already I have read some 1NS titles. I’ve also submitted one of my own.

My soon-to-be-released 1NS is a M/M romance set in Mumbai, India. Here’s the blurb:

After being fired unexpectedly, oil company contract negotiator, Thomas Barkley is stranded in a hotel in Mumbai. With fortuitous luck, the email from Madame Eve he’s been waiting for finally arrives—she’s found him a match and his date is set for tonight in that very hotel.

For months, Indian prostitute Arjun has begged Madame Eve to set him up for one night of real pleasure. He knows better than to expect anything other than a brief hiatus from his sad life. But Thomas showers him with tender, and very real affection, and his heart aches for the life he cannot have. When his abusive boss, Ranjeet, notices Arjun is missing, he isn't going to let him go without a fight.

But Thomas isn't just good in bed— he’s damn good at his job as well. Will he negotiate for Arjun’s freedom even though it puts his heart, and their lives, at risk?

And I have to say I’m very happy with the cover. *grins*

I’ll also have space opera out soon – book #1 in the Martian Mating series. The story features a ship’s captain with amnesia and his former hot-headed girlfriend who’s determined to either help him or make him pay for ruining her life!

And look for another M/M book to come out soon as well – this one with cowboys – I co-authored with Shiloh Saddler. This is also book #1 in a three book series about bull riding on the PBR circuit.

My current release with Decadent is SweetCravings. It’s a foodie romance and has enough whipped cream to make you weak at the knees – but there are no calories I promise!

And big thank you to all Decadent readers for making the 1Night Stand series such a success!

#BBW is hot...are you reading it?

By Eva LeFoy
They say write what you know. In a lot of ways that means start with yourself. Take the parts of the story from your personal life experiences. For many women, personal life experience includes NOT being a size 4 or 6 or 8. Is there anything wrong with that? Heck no!
Many women look in the mirror and think there’s a problem. After all, we’ve been bombarded with Twiggy-sized models on TV and in magazines for years. We’ve been taught being bigger is bad, but women authors are beginning to speak out. It’s time to write what we know and add our voices to the mix.
I believe many women can relate to my Sweet Cravings heroine, Violet. She’s hippy. She’s got thunder thighs. She’s not slim-cut. And she has a lot of insecurities about herself. But when you get down to her heart, she’s basically a Big Beautiful Woman. And it’s a shocker when Chef Max comes along and tells her he prefers her that way.
Here’s Violet in a moment of insecurity:

“Your dress is getting ruined.” Gawd, even his smirk was sexy.
I didn’t even think about my black dress getting covered with fluffy whiteness, but apparently his brain cells functioned better than mine at the moment. He gently pushed me back until I stood there in front of him, panting, probably looking like an overheated, giant cupcake. Before I could whine, he shushed me, and spun me around. His hands worked my zipper, and my dress opened. It slipped to the floor with little provocation, leaving me in my bra and panties. The refrigerated air hit my skin and I shivered, my nipples hardened to stiff peaks under my thin bra.
For a few beats, I heard only silence behind me and started to worry. Maybe Mom was right, I’d had too many desserts over the years and he didn’t like what he saw…. I was about to turn around and tell him, “That’s okay, don’t trouble yourself,” when his knees hit the tile floor behind me and hot breath slashed a trail right above my panties. My legs went weak, and my heart sang hallelujah.
A tantalizing tongue dragged a searing trail down my lower back and over my tailbone, where it dipped below the panty line. The chef’s succulent lips paused to press a kiss, and I shivered as liquid heat surged through my core. Wetness I’d never experienced before drenched my panties, leaving me breathless. He blazed a path down my cleft and roughly tugged the remaining fabric away.

She’s about to call off the whole thing, but then … Chef Max surprises her. He’s into it. He’s digging her. All of her.
If you want to see what Chef Max does next, check out my blog to read another section of this sex scene. And don’t worry about the calories. Today they’re on me!

Sweet Cravings is available here: Amazon U.S. / Amazon UK / Barnes and Noble / All Romance Ebooks

Happy reading!

Chefs...Good Guys or Bad Guys?

Sweet Cravings Available HERE
By Eva LeFoy

When I was younger, I worked as a server for a local hotel/convention center. I served banquet guests dinners, desserts, and beverages carrying those really big trays. My work often took me into the kitchen, where the real work took place. Chefs, sous chefs, cooks, dishwashers, all collided in a working frenzy. I was just the in-between.

But before this, I worked at a commercial restaurant. The chef heard this, and called me into his office. He asked me, “Do you want to become a chef?”

I, head held high, brain in the academic clouds, answered, “No, I want to be a biologist.”

He literally told me to get the hell out of his office!!

From what I’ve heard, this is quintessential chef behavior. But Chef Max in my book, Sweet Cravings, is definitely not like this! He likes Violet from the get-go, but is a little unsure how to take the fact she seduces him right in the kitchen. Violet has needs, hungers, you might say. Many of them. And Chef Max is all too eager to fulfill them!

Here’s an excerpt:

As if he could hear my thoughts, he said, “Even if you think some of your hungers are bad…or wrong.” He pressed a gentle kiss to the tip of my nose. “I assure you they are not. They are perfectly normal.” His arm slid around my back and pulled me close, hip to hip. My sex clenched in anticipation. “All of them.”
I gasped as his erection pressed against my rapidly heating mound. Being this close to him drove spikes of excitement up and down my core, from my pussy to my brain, making me too stupid to talk. I was glad he kept going.
“It would give me great pleasure to satisfy your every craving.” He sent me a serious, no-nonsense look that could have made him a damn fine lawyer. “All of them.”
All of them? What was he asking me? To let go and…show him all my dirty little secrets? All my kinky and desperate needs? Food and otherwise? The ones no man had ever bothered to satisfy before? I shot him a glance, sucked in a breath, and bit my lip.
He nodded, as if saying yes. Yes. Yes, yes, and yes.
A sense of relief flooded me at his words and my muscles untightened as the truth sank in. He wanted to fulfill all of them. Every last need. Every which way my fiendish little mind could imagine to connect, to explore, with another. He’d be there. He’d take it all. Or would he? The shadow of a doubt crossed my mind, and I checked out his eyes searching for the answer.
He smiled as he touched his lips to mine, and I knew. Yes, he had a healthy appetite, too, and it wasn’t just food he craved. His tongue swept into my mouth and my body electrified. I kissed him back with as much urgency as I knew how to put into a kiss, grasped handfuls of his arms and shoulders, and moaned.
He pressed me backward until my ass hit the counter as he took the kiss deeper, devouring my mouth. I slipped my hands under his shirt, greedy for skin-to-skin contact, and roamed every bit of flesh I could reach. Our lips glided against each other’s at a pace matching our raspy breaths. Down below, I ached to draw him inside me.
“Too many clothes,” I panted out.

Thanks for reading!

Sometimes You Just Have to Have a Little Fun

By Eva LeFoy

When I signed up for the Dirty Birdies Flock Hop, I panicked. I had no idea what to write about. The theme was “eye candy,” so I spent hours and hours looking for eye candy on different photo sites. Finally I settled on one I liked:

Isn’t he cute? Well he must have spoken to me (or my subconscious, heh). Somehow, some way, I started writing this post about him:

I gave him a name and decided he looked as though he’d spent a decadent night at a wild wedding and woken up on the beach half-dressed and extremely satisfied! So I figured okay, maybe he needs a girl. I gave him one. A sexy wedding guest who he follows down to the beach and into a secret cave…

And that’s how it all started really. To read where it went from there, you have to understand that my mind made several crazy leaps. First, my brain decided Sean was a wolf. Not any wolf, but a beta wolf. Okay... And to make things more interesting, the woman he likes – Sharla - has a long-standing dom/sub sexual relationship with the newly married bride.

Ker-Pow!

And then my brain in its infinite wisdom decided to go all UF on me (Urban Fantasy) and make the bride a witch. Ha! Adding to that nearly insurmountable trouble, Sean discovers that Sharla’s his mate.

In the words of the always grammatically interesting English, “bloody hell!”

I thought to myself that a M/F/F ménage would be a cool concept, but then, there was the groom to contend with. Can’t forget about him, now can we? He would not like sharing his new bride with another male, especially since he’s an alpha wolf! I had to find another way to get Sharla and Sean together – ahem – naked on the beach AND give him that cigar and that wicked grin you see in the photo.

Note: Every wicked grin needs a good reason.

So that’s how I happened to write a 3-part serial for a blog hop that had absolutely nothing to do with anything, except that it was fun making up a story to go with a picture. And I hope that readers think it is a fun free read too!

To reads parts 2 and 3, go here: http://wp.me/p1JQUw-8h and http://wp.me/p1JQUw-8P

Heck, if you’ve got ideas for Sean and Sharla’s future and want to add to their story, let me know. You never know where just having a litte fun might take you.

Happy reading!
