High-Risk Fever Nominated!

 by Lea Bronsen

What fabulous news and a true honor to have one of my books chosen to compete in The Romance Reviews Readers’ Choice Awards!
I started writing the GLBT erotic ménage High-Risk Fever two years ago in response to an erotica anthology call. The antho didn't happen, but my characters Anne and Mica were vehement their dripping hot story needed to be told, so I continued writing. In that process, I surprisingly (both to my readers, surely, and myself) broadened my genre spectrum from hetero erotica to GLBT and ménage. Well, I had already told the story of a passionate gay boy in my debut novel Wild Hearted, but now I was describing full-on gay acts and choreographing steamy foursome scenes that spanned over several chapters… Phew! Quite a new experience, and definitely a challenge. *laughs*

This is the story:
Two young and indecently handsome bicyclists visit a village in the French Alps during the summer holidays. Forced by a raging storm to spend the night at the local bed and breakfast, they invade the quiet lives of hostess Anne and her husband, Brian. A power outage plunges the foursome into darkness, encouraging new liaisons to form, life-long secrets to be unveiled, and steamy lessons to be learned. But once the storm moves on, can the four find a balance and resume their normal lives?

Thank you for reading J and I hope you will be many to give High-Risk Fever your nomination vote in the "GLBT – Ménage à Trois or More" category on http://glbt.theromancereviews.com/viewbooks.php?bookid=15866

About me:
I've always had a vivid imagination and written since an early age. Now juggling life as a mother, full-time worker, and thriving author, I struggle to find any reading time – but when I open a book, I want it fast, hot, and edgy! Striving to give my own stories the same intensity, I currently divide my writing time between psychological thriller, suspense romance, and erotic contemporary romance.

For the Love of Ashley, please nominate my book!

by Inge Saunders

Okay, so who watched Got to Dance because of Ashley Banjo? *grin* Yeah, me too!
I mean *blushes* there were some great, truly, great talent on the show. And last season’s winners Duplic8 was awesome. I was introduced to the two dancers through a B-Boy DVD that chronicled different dance crews from around the globe taking part in the B-Boy Championships: World Series. I remembered them because I’d been so impressed by their skill as well as their back-story and then to see them on the show, wow, I so wanted them to win.
I love dancing and these types of shows, so of course no surprise that I would find myself in front of the TV two years ago enjoying a lazy Saturday afternoon. I haven’t gotten hooked on the show yet because there simply wasn’t enough time in the day. But here I was free, in control of the remote, an omnibus of the show was about to come on and well, I made myself comfortable…and crushed out like it was going out of fashion on Ashley! *laughs*
During those blissful moments a concept for a story made its way into my head. What if a competition hopeful falls for a judge on the panel and the feeling’s mutual? How would they handle it going forward?
Because I didn’t want to go the reality TV talent show route, I changed my idea to auditioning for the lead principal at one of the most respected dance companies in the world, where making it passed the audition guaranteed you a spot in the Ballet Boot Camp, and then a final showcase would decide the contestant’s fate. And all of this would be set in Rome, even though the heroine came from Cape Town, South Africa.
I’ve always been fascinated by Rome, the culture and history, so a story set in this beautiful city have been waiting in the wings to be written.
But as cute as Ashley Banjo was I needed a more ruthless judge on the panel. I needed someone arrogant, an Alpha male who exuded authority. Someone who you’d believe could be the owner of a dance company even though they were thirty years old.
As Got to Dance went to commercial, I flipped through the channels and BAM! There was the X Factor and Simon Cowell making some inane comment. Seriously, this guy *shakes head* I love him, but he could be too much at times.
But the idea of having a character embody everything that’s Simon Cowell made my stomach turn I had to throw in some Ian Somerhalder *grin* Okay I didn’t have to, but come on; he’s Damon Salvatore Badass Vampire. I could already see that lopsided grin on my hero’s face as he critiqued one dance contestant after the other.
And so Antonio Machiavelli was born with the help of Ashley Banjo, Simon Cowell and Ian Somerhalder. Who said you couldn’t create the perfect man? *laughs*

On Tuesday I learned Dance of Love had qualified for The Romance Reviews Readers’ Choice Awards- Winter 2015. The book has made it to the next and final round, the Nominations Round.

So for the love of Ashley, Simon and Ian please go nominate Dance of Love as your Readers’ Choice!

It would be much appreciated and I guarantee, they will show up in your dreams tonight *wink* Maybe not Simon. Unless, you’re into taking orders than by all means, go for it! *fist bump*

Spanked by the Bad Boy News from London Saint James

by London Saint James

There are times in an author’s life when we find ourselves doing the happy jiggle. When we get an acceptance for publication. When our book baby hits the best selling lists. When a reader e-mails to tell us how much they love our work, or to say one of our characters is their new book boyfriend. When we get good reviews… And, when we get a notification that one of our books has been recognized for some sort of achievement, or chosen to be part of an awards competition.

Well, I’m over the moon happy to say, Spanked by the Bad Boy (Bad Boy Fever 1) has been chosen to compete in The Romance Reviews Readers’ Choice Awards – Winter 2015 in the Erotic Romance - Contemporary Romance category.
I loved writing this story. Declan is a man with some rough edges, but he’s got a hart hidden beneath the bad boy façade. And Tiffany? Well, she’s a woman who has allowed her abusive past to shape her dealings with people, especially with men. But Declan isn’t going to let her prickly attitude stop him. He’ll do whatever it takes to get to know her and have a relationship with her. Of course there are some bumps along the way, but in the end the two of them achieve something real.
Heartfelt thanks to my publisher and their awesome team who helped bring this book into the world. More warm fuzzies go out to my readers and fans. You never cease to amaze me with the love and support you show me and my work. Truly, there’s no better feeling in the world than to do what you love, and have other people love your work, too. So, I’m patting my heart as I say sincerely, thank you.

Favorite lines from Made For Her & a Contest!

by Jessica E. Subject

I saw another Decadent author create this type of post and thought it was a really neat idea. So, I’ve decided to compile a list of my favorite lines of dialogue from Made for Her between the hero and heroine. They are not part of the same conversation, just different things they say to each other which will hopefully give you a glimpse into this erotic sci-fi military romance. Enjoy!

Dare (hero): “But I was supposed to be trained by the best. I was told that was you.”

Dare: “It’s because I look like him, isn’t it? I was told you might react negatively to me, but I never expected this.”
Mikayla (heroine): “You’re exactly like Daniel. Your mannerisms, your voice, and that annoying foot tap when you’re impatient. I can’t concentrate when I’m around you. I can’t be strong, be a leader.”

Mikayla: “Let me show you how it’s done. I am, after all, the best.”
Dare: “You really are the best instructor. Do you give everyone this hands-on lesson?”

Dare: “I’m sure there are many secrets at this base. We’re about to make another.”

Dare: “Well, Mikayla, you are just full of surprises. Right now I want to fuck you myself, but I hope you’ll invite me back so that we can play with these another night.”

Dare: “Dessert is looking mighty fine right now.”

Mikayla: “You just gave me a bunch of mind-blowing orgasms. You’ll have to remind me what I said.”

Dare: “The only way I can get through this mission is knowing you’ll still be alive. But this is my purpose, what I was made for.”

After terrorists murder the love of her life, Colonel Mikayla Jones trains squadron after squadron of the clones he brought to life, to take to the skies. When she discovers a young clone of her husband in her newest class, her world spins out of control. How can she command the look-a-like when she can’t help but yearn for him to fill an ache in her heart?
Dare was created to be the best. As the first Daniel clone to leave Onatria labs, he needs to prove he is more than just a DNA copy. To do that, he must rely on the wife of the man who donated his genes. But when she refuses to train him, Dare faces discharge and returning to the labs. Can he convince Colonel Jones to finish his training and find a way into her bed? Or will long kept secrets unhinge the entire clone project?

Available from:

Excerpt:
Colonel Jones eyed each one of her new cadets, examining the neatness of their uniforms, while inspecting for signs of stress or over-anxiousness. She’d never seen the telltale muscle twitches or sweats in any previous clones, only in human-borns, but she had to look for them anyway.
The first generation of clones didn’t live long enough to become cadets. Their hearts gave out within a year after incubation. But the scientists at Onatria had plowed on, utilizing more of Daniel’s research, speeding up the aging process with hormones to create the perfect generation she saw before her.
She’d had female clones in previous squadrons, but the government filled the one in front of her with testosterone-driven masculinity. If she’d been younger, she’d have a hard time concentrating. But her days of crushes and fantasies were long over. She was devoted to serving her country and planet, and nothing else.
That didn’t stop her from going out on the town for a stress-relieving fuck from time to time. But these young men in front of her appeared so virile, sure to last longer than any of her previous sexual partners.
No. As junior officers, and more importantly, as clones, they were off limits.
Inspecting them gave her the opportunity to check out more than their fatigues and tics, but if they knew her thoughts, they’d walk all over her. She’d be done.
They were of varying nationalities, builds, and heights, all fit to serve the planet. None of the cadets revealed any indication he would put the lives of others in jeopardy. This will be an easy squadron, every one of them ready to fly in a matter of weeks.
She reached the last cadet and froze. Her stomach clenched. No, they couldn’t have!
She pivoted on her heel and rushed off the tarmac, leaving the squad without an instructor.
