Facts about Kyle Mason!

Kyle Mason, Decadent Publishing's Customer Service Rep
 (and Daisy)
I rescued Daisy’s mother when I was stationed in the Coast Guard in Oregon. I didn’t know she was pregnant. She had one puppy, Daisy. Lucky me!

I was in a rock band in high school. My mom hated it. My dad loved it.
I have professionally modeled. My mom loved it. My dad hated it.

My parents wanted me to go to law school and join my dad's firm. Didn’t happen. Sitting in an office all day would kill me.
I have one sister, Caroline. She joined my dad’s law firm. I thank her every day.

Kyle 2009 - Coast Guard Sector Columbia River, Oregon

I never liked water when I was a kid. So naturally, the Coast Guard was an obvious career choice.

My favorite sports are hockey, rugby and curling.

My grandmother owned a bakery and taught me how to bake. She can't bake anymore, so I take her a treat every week.

I’ve been restoring my dad’s 1967 Mustang Coupe since I was in high school. It's a 3 speed manual, with all its original parts and a straight six. It’s still not done, partly because he and I disagree on how to do it the “right way”.

Hey Kyle, Mustangs are the best, and I didn't know about Daisy's mom. You really are the greatest.

Ah Oregon - my favorite US state for a holiday!! The place where my son caught a load of little sand crabs in his swimming trunks and we freaked out in the parking lot, the place where we picnicked on the sand and a huge wave came out of nowhere and swept all the food away - we should have called the coastguard!!

Kyle, it's always nice to learn more about the faces at Decadent. How sweet are you, rescuing Daisy's mom and taking baked goods to your grandma. Ahh... :)

Nice car! I have a weakness for Amercian muscle cars (and some American muscle full stop ;))

Daisy is cute. American Bulldog, right? We just got a Bullie pup, name of Harley (like the bikes).

Dude you sound too good to be true. Wish my hubby baked...
Beautiful car and dog too. I hope you enjoy Decadent!

No rescue? Darn it. Honestly though, I've never seen a wave like it. Not big but it kept coming and coming and coming!! I did wonder if a boat had put out to sea in Hawaii - chaos theory!!

You were quite a hit with my friends Mr. Kyle. They were on the phone asking if we were gonna have a dog play date lol. I said I have to get a dog first! Still it was a pleasure to meet you on facebook :)

Hey brat,

It's about time you worked up the nerve to introduce yourself to the rest of DP:)

Hugs to you and Daisy!

Okay, this guy cannot be real. That hair, a past model, coast guard, loves his grandmother, rescued a dog? Wow. ;)

*hugs* Nice to meet you!

Graylin - according my mother, who was there at the birth, I'm real and so is my hair. LOL Most guys love their grandmother and would rescue a dog if given the chance. We do have our good qualities. Lisa made me talk about mine, that's all!

Lisa - I am not a brat. Maybe a little. No muffins for you, but I will bring Daisy's favorite dog biscuits for your fur friends. At least they like me. :-)

Your dog is so freak'n cute! Makes me want another one, though my husband thinks two dogs, a cat, and three kids are enough. ;)

Kyle said...

Hales - anytime you want to bring your friends and dogs up north, let me know. Don't forget, I bake, too. Is that incentive?

Katie Harper said...

Kyle, has anyone ever told you you'd make an excellent romance novel hero? ;)

Nice to meet you Kyle! What a busy guy you are. Do you manage to find time to breathe? LOL

You enjoy curling? Seriously? What kind of fool likes curling. (Sshhhh, don't tell my hubby i said that. He's a curler.) LOL

I married the first guy who baked for me. Still love him. ;)

Hi Kyle, love Daisy. She has the same markings my dog Maggie has. She's a rescue (Lab-Pointer mix). I think you are my son's long lost brother. He loves mustangs, playing rugby, cooking, his grammy, has a rescue dog named Molly... but he's only 15. LOL.
Glad to meet you. Hugs!

*waves hi to Kyle and the rest of the DP who've all seemed to have made it over here before me!* hehe
So true, many men do love their Grandmothers -- my hubby adores his Nana and would also bake for her if he knew how. Alas, I'm the cook in our family. Thank goodness. Or we'd be living of cheese on toast or bacon butties (sandwiches).

Hockey, rugby and... curling?

Which of these is not like the other?

Kyle, have you considered therapy?

Though I second the rest...let's work on having you be our personal Decadent cover model!

Oh you lucky bastard! I would kill to have a 1967, and to restore it with my own two hands...ugh you are so lucky.

Samantha Gail said...

What? LOL! Of course I like you! Why do you think I asked Val not to post those nekkid baby pictures I have of you?

Kyle said...

Maureen - I make therapists cry.

Samantha - You really never want another one of my pastries again, do you?

IoneWolf - she's awesome. If I can keep my dad out of my garage, I may get her running like she wants to!

Heather - that's just wrong.
