I have to completely agree on the perfection of cupcakes. But you failed to mention your awesomeness Ms. Kate...I know, it's a given, but I was thinking for those who hadn't really met you yet. Being dipped in super and rolled in awesome just isn't an everyday thing so I think it should have been mentioned :)

Ha ha - I agree cupcakes are the perfect food. Cake has eggs and flour and the frosting I make usually has milk so that is protein, carbs besides sugar and calcium. They are just the right size so you are not tempted to cut too big of a portion. This helps when seconds and thirds are desired as well - each the perfect size. Oh – and of course your dogs chose you, Kate, your humor makes you the perfect pal to hang out with.

OMGoddess! Kate, we're twins! Well, except for the 3 huskies. And I don't know much about Bishop other than I drove through it once and thought it was in a pretty setting...

And I didn't go to USC...

Nevermind.

Well, the second point it just like me!

Fun facts. Huskies are such beautiful dogs. I have three adult cats who are trying to train me. They're so disappointed when they bring in a half dead mouse and I refused to eat it. Ah, well, the things that make us grin.

Kate - everyone thinks your perfect food is so awesome...I think we need to create a "Kate Richards" cupcake. Chocolate and coffee, maybe a little witchy-poo magic dust on top?

I knew there was a reason I loved ya. Cupcakes are awesome, but you had me at boogie boarding and afraid to surf. LOL. And yes, sprinkle some of your witchy-poo' magic dust around.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I disappeared yestederday when dh showed up at my Moms's where I had been doing the glamorous work of helping stepdad insulate his giant garage. Rich kidnapped me to Nevada, to Topaz Lake for a belated anniversary surprise and I couldn't get my hands on the computer...I do get credit for having romance though right? LOL In fact, if I do what I did with Finally, My Love...we may have a sequel from this.

@Kate & @Val -

Now I've got to see if I've got...

OK, got the cupcake tray. Got the coffee. Got the chocolate and the magic powder and the flour and the eggs.

Time to make some chocolate / coffee cupcakes.
