Those crazy Decadent Authors...

by Fierce Dolan

Ever wonder what makes your favorite Decadent authors tick? I know I do, so I decided to task them with a plot to just lay it out. It went something like this:
Decadent lovelies, this is your mission should you choose to accept it: Identify a secret (nonsexual) quirky fondness…

I braced myself. I didn’t know what to expect. There were rumors of squirty cheese, something about exploding candy, and concerns over 'quirky' performance anxiety. At first I was concerned the mission would fail partly from over emphasis on scary foodstuffs, also from the fact that we all stay so busy writing. In the end, they came through like champions, albeit strange victors overly obsessed with food anomalies.

Taryn Kincaid, author of Frost, Sleepy Hollow – Book Three, said schmaltzy Hallmark Hall of Fame commercials that make people (her) sniffle ranked high.

Made For Her creatrix, Jessica Subject, admitted a fondness for zesty garlic croutons, which means someone else will have to take up her vampire slack.

Valerie Mann of First Comes Marriage confessed two quirky delights. The first was a very rare steak, and the second was waterfalls. I’m not certain if she meant together.

Love Redeemed (Book 2, The Market Series)’s author, Sorcha Mowbray scored high with simplicity: cupcakes.

DL Jackson, author of Finding Mercy logged cinnamon teddy bears as her decadent treat. She said more, but I think it could get be arrested, so I’ll leave it at that.

Gigolo Seduction’s Fierce Dolan (that would be me has a thing for sectioned plates, appealing to a sense of order otherwise unattained anywhere else in life.

Publisher, Heather Bennet has a hankering for soft cotton T-shirts and natural fabrics in general, such as Egyptian Cotton sheets and goose down pillows.

Author of Take Me Home, Cowboy, Krista Ames likes to have her shoes tied super tight. She also mentioned always having to sleep with a fan on. Lacing and hot in the bedroom?  Hmm.

So there you have it—quirky curiosities about your favorite Decadent authors. Now, you tell us, what are your tasteful eccentricities? You never know… You might read about them in a book one day…

Oh, I like waterfalls, too. And I can totally understand your quirk with sectioned plates. I like to keep my food separated, too.

Great post, Fierce! :)

I like to eat the chocolate on Snickers bars first, then the middle part.

Also, Pepsi is the greatest beverage ever to go with a Snickers bar. Or coffee to swirl it in.

And sectioned plates are cool, especially if you have stuff that keeps trying to mingle but shouldn't. Like baked beans...they're always trying to annex territory.

Chicken. Are you afraid of the guys in the black suits and sunglasses? LOL

I'll go with the cupcakes, the croutons, the waterfalls, the steak and the high-thread count sheets. I'm still mulling the tightly-laced shoes. Which could be a problem with the flip-flops and Uggs.

(Thanks for including me. I feel so humdrum compared to the others!)
