How do you ménage?

The Frog Prince available HERE
By Deanna Wadsworth

Oh, yeah, I asked it! LOL Actually I want to talk about reading ménage, what you do in your own spare time, you can PM me about LOL
This topic came up because I just got tricked...yes I said tricked, LOL... into reading an M/F/M book the other day. I thought it was M/M because I barely glanced at the pdf book cover on my desktop. When I saw two muscled chests I just sent that baby to my kindle. I didn’t notice the girl on the cover, LOL.
Per my usual I was in the mood for a couple sexy guys falling in love, so about  five minutes into the book I was like, “Whoa, there’s gonna be a chick in this? WTH?” I did a little mental grumbling—you know how it is when you expect one thing and get another?—but it was a well written book and I liked the dialog, so I kept reading. It ended up being a really good novella and I would probably read the author again.
Ms. Claus's List available HERE
One thing disappointed me. I wanted the guys to be into each other as well. But alas the quote was, “We need to have a woman between us,” hence the M/F/M, not the M/M/F that was what I was hoping for. If you aren’t an erotica reader, you may not realize that when the Ms are listed next to each other, it denotes the men have fun with each other, too. And likewise F/F/M means there is girl on girl action.
After reading this book—and I did enjoy it—I got to thinking about the ménage and polyamorous books I have written. MS. CLAUS’ LIST is just a good old fashioned orgy, LOL, where I make sure everybody plays with everybody. But then again in my Naughty North Pole series I establish that Santa’s elves are horny little critters and gender doesn’t matter. THE FROG PRINCE is a polyamorous story where the Prince Phillip is in love with his footman but needs a wife to break a curse and finds an open-minded girl who doesn’t mind being their new plaything.
In reading the above book I mentioned, I realized that my preference with ménage stories is everyone should be involved with each partner in SOME way. If you’re gonna do it, might as well go all in. Right?
Maybe because I am on a m/m kick lately, but I like the idea of it being a total three-way, not just the fantasy of two guys being all about one girl. It’s hotter, for me anyway, when everyone joins in. And I DO NOT mean the men need to do it... but dayum! If you are so “cool” with your BFF, your “bro” that you wanna “share” a woman... um, you would think that those men would be comfortable enough with those naked parts mere inches from theirs to at least touch the other guys ARM or his LEG. While I love on-page M/M action, my ménage guys need to at least use their partner’s shoulder for a prop on occasion. If you’re a dude cool with a three-way with another dude and a chick... be comfortable enough with yourself that maybe you at least KISS the guy. Cuz, IMO, if you’re going down that road of naughty, heck, a kiss sure ain’t gonna make you gay, dude. LOL
What about you guys?
What is your personal favorite match-up in ménage?
M/M/F; M/F/F; M/F/M? I haven’t read F/M/F, but the second I typed it plot bunnies started talking to me...
Please leave a comment. I would love to hear from you!

Going Underground with Jessica E. Subject

Inspiration for the Settings of the Series

The three stories in my series, The Underground, take place in a futuristic dystopian world where the corporation Planet Core is also the acting government. But it is the goal of those in the Underground to take them out of power.

When I started this series, I knew it would take place on the foreign planet, Airondelle, which those from Earth travel to through a portal. Want to know what the portal looked like? Think of Stargate. And the landscape resembles a flat desert with little vegetation, and small springs that are few and far between.

When I brought the crew back to Earth, I imagined a world made of steel and glass, tall buildings, and very little green space. Everything hovers, from the motorbikes of the police to the chairs in one’s apartment. Citizens take the glide to and from work, and get most of their food from a replicator. And the building on the cover of Never Gonna LetYou Go very much resembles Planet Core.

The Underground somewhat resembles the subways of our present, but long abandoned. Here’s an excerpt:

With no idea what the underground looked like, Calla gasped at the wide, well lit cavern in front of her. She stood with Erik on a metal platform attached to one side of the walls of the cavity. Walkways were bolted into the rock above and below her. The distance to solid ground below surprised her, and she grasped Erik’s hand tighter as well as gripping the railing along the platform. Erik pulled her away from the edge. “This is the main sleeping quarters floor, where most of the underground’s first officers call home.” He pointed to the platform above. “Everyone else lives higher up, closer to the emergency exit.”

And in Never Gonna Desert You, you can visit the natives of Airondelle, in their home in the caves. It was the picture of Ouzoud Waterfalls in the Windows waterfalls theme background which inspired that setting.

The sound of rushing water made Brook aware of her ready-to-burst bladder, though she hadn’t had a drink since she’d left Planet Core.
   “Are we there yet?”
They could knock her out. She no longer cared. Being unconscious had to be better than the torture to her body.
“As a matter of fact, we are.”
A hand pushed down on her head, while another shoved her forward. Brook shivered at the sudden drop in temperature. The air smelled damp, musty. The sound of water disappeared.
No! “Why couldn’t we stop back there, grab something to drink?”
Only their footsteps echoing off the walls answered her. Not the same sound she’d heard in the transporter room at Planet Core, but something natural. Like a cave.

And in the third story, Never Gonna Say Goodbye, which is coming soon to Decadent Publishing, you can visit all of these settings and more. But in the end, everything drastically changes. How? Well, you’ll have to wait and find out.

Everyday Dirtiness

By Emily Cale

As an erotic romance writer, I’m often finding hilarious things among ordinary language. It’s not that I mean to say dirty things (why are you laughing?), but they just slip out. This past week has been especially bad for two reasons. First, I’m still in India and there are some cultural differences in language that leave me pee-my-pants laughing. Second, I am without coffee and do not have the restraint necessary to refrain from saying such things. So, without further ado, my list of things I actually said this past week.
  1.   I love my pussy
  2.  So, I should just ask people if they have talking balls?
  3. You seem stressed. I hope you get off on Saturday
  4.  I’m not naked, am I?
  5. Shit, I forgot the lubricant
  6. We can do it as a three-way

Those are just the ones I caught. Lucky for me, people here seem not to notice. The hard part is restraining myself when I pick up on it. Made any slips of the tongue lately (intentional or otherwise)?

Oh, and speaking of three-ways (did you like that transition?), I have one. Or rather my characters do.

Christmas Menage

Dear Santa,

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve written but circumstances dictate that I communicate with you as soon as possible in order to avoid a misunderstanding that could interfere with our business relationship. As regards our meeting on the night of the 24th of this month, I would hate to have industry (mine or yours) gossip interfere with your arrival.
Let’s face it, elves have big mouths and love to read sexy stories. I hear it helps them keep warm up there!

So, rather than hide behind pretty words, I’ll admit it. I write Christmas ménages. I realize the concept may be a little advanced but before you put me on the Naughty list, allow me to state my case.

Christmas is not all about toys—don’t faint! I think it’s more about love. Love comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes and numbers. There is the love for our families, our friend, our communities, and of course our significant other(s). If two people can love one another, why can’t three? Especially with the magic of Christmas to lend a hand! Just in case you or Mrs. Claus has time to read in this busy season, I’ll tell you about a couple of my stories.

Buy Avalon for Christmas HERE!

Avalon for Christmas – Pete hopes the magic of the holiday season will help him to mend the friendship one night of teenage indiscretion tore apart. A dozen years have passed and it will take all the Christmas spirit in Avalon to mend the rift and just maybe bring the three of them together for a night of explosive sex that will catapult them into a happy ever after beyond any of their wildest dreams…

And of course…the one just released today…

Buy Two Men and a Virgin HERE!
Two Men and a Virgin - Andie’s first trip to the 49th state is not just for sightseeing. She’s emptied her bank account to bring the two men of her dreams to Castillo Lodge, in Castle, Alaska for a Christmas Eve date of a lifetime. Only…they don’t know their date is also their best friend from back home.
Paul and Rex were delighted to “win” a date from Madame Eve, although they were surprised to find there had been a contest. Still, they plan to make the most of their time away, skiing, dogsledding…romancing a mysterious woman who is looking for two sexy guys for a night of over-the-top passion. A stranger with whom they can be themselves, and not have to hide their secret.

So, dear, dear Santa, I think you will agree that a Christmas ménage is completely in the spirit of the season, and what I would like for Christmas is a review by you or Mrs. Claus. Not the elves, please. They tend to just read for the spicy parts and miss the sweet and I think you’ll agree that it takes both parts to make a magical Christmas tale come true!

Love to you all,

Kate Richards

It’s a Pre Release Party!

Coming December 12, 2012  from Decadent Publishing!

By Mahalia Levey
Satin and Steel Releases December 12th from Decadent Publishing. I’m really excited about my upcoming release. Writing Amara’s story was such a joy. I’m also excited because it’s my first f/f/m story and paranormal to boot! There is something sexy about two women and a strong man becoming a trio, add in the rest of the pack, demons and a villain and you have a bang up story.
In anticipation of my release,  we’ll be giving a copy away to a random winner and a small bubble envelope of swag! Make sure to comment and leave your email address.  Tell me what you love about paranormal ménages and a trio consisting of f/f/m, if you haven’t read f/f/m you’re in for a treat!

Blurb:
Amaranta knows well the painful burn of inadequacy. Not being quite good enough for those she loves. Until her path changes in irrevocable ways. Kanima calls to her, death surrounds her as she grows into her craft. Hating the enforcer side of her she has no choice but to accept, she buckles down endeavoring to become the best of the best. She finds she hunts best alone, fending off all orders to hunt with a partner. Until the day her most valued treasure is taken from her. Amaranta must not only accept the help of others but find the strength within to face her greatest fear. The solution waits for her on a silver platter. All she has to do is grasp what’s readily in front of her.

Excerpt:
Amara leveled her gaze on Gavin. Feeling a slight blush stain her face, she broke eye contact to quell the inner turmoil raging through her. She wondered where the soft-spoken voice came from, and why she suddenly had this blatant need for reassurance from Gavin. Snap out of it now! her conscience yelled at her. Great. The next time she saw a cricket, she’d stomp on it and revel in the sound of squashing a bug under her booted foot.
“You’re being for real?” Mari’s jaw had dropped open.
“Shh. It seems you’re my strength and weakness. Don’t let it out past this room, though. You’d ruin my reputation as an ice-blooded killer masked by my good charms and sweet personality.”
“Bullshit.” Gavin coughed the word behind his hand. He abandoned his post at the archway and moved toward them. Amara watched him with detached interest. Mari flicked a gaze between them and nudged her, leaning down to whisper in her ear. Amara jumped so fast at her words their heads collided.
“That fucking hurt. You have a head made of steel, Amara.”
“Damn it. Baby, I’m sorry. You surprised me. I can’t believe you think I’m interested in him,” she hissed low, offended by the accusation.
“You’re acting funny. Really odd. I’ve never seen you behave this way.”
“Drop it, sexy. I don’t want dick.”
“Keep on lying to yourself,” Mari volleyed back. Amara barely heard the last few words out of her lover’s mouth.
“Marisol.” Amara growled. “Drop it now.” Damn crazy woman goaded her into anger. Seeing the red haze begin to cloud her vision, she took a few calming breaths to shove her jaguar back in place.
“Ladies?” Gavin moved to come between them.
“Back off, mongrel.” Amara turned her body to the side, shoving Gavin with all her strength away from them. The bulk of his large frame crashed into the wall, knocking knick-knacks onto the floor. Draven and Theron both rose, she assumed to intervene.
“Kitten, sheath your fucking claws.” He extricated himself from the raining sheetrock and paint to stalk over to her. Rage sparkled in his eyes. He reminded her of a Berserker. Not good. Her calculations told her she could take him and win. The accuracy of such thoughts, when balanced against her ego, said otherwise. “No, you didn’t just call me some ridiculous, endearing term. We’re fighting right now. Stupid dog.”
“Oh, shit.” Mari squeaked and slid from her arms to Draven’s. Amara’s jaw dropped open. Her girlfriend wasn’t going to rub her back and calm her down. Instead, she took a front row seat. Heat suffused Amara’s face. By the look of things, the lapdog brothers of his stayed back, intent to watch, not interfere. In a dark alley on an equally eclipsed night, she’d find herself worried to go up against him. He drew his body larger with every step he took toward her. Amara quaked in her boots, not from fear but from the new awareness sparking within her. A feeling she didn’t like one bit.
Her heartbeat danced a new cadence as she fought between darting away and standing her ground. So what? A little plaster is good for a person. She curbed her rampant thought.
“We don’t have time for this. There’s a madman loose. I must hunt.” Hackles raised, she backed up a step for each one he took closer to her personal space. Gavin could easily reach out and shake her like a rag doll but apparently chose not to. She had no idea what his aim was or how to strategize a way out of venting his anger. Her gaze honed in on the growing bulge in his pants. When he turned from her and walked over to Marisol, she sucked in a deep breath, a sigh of relief. He murmured something to her girlfriend and she nodded her head yes to him.
“What are you two conspiring to do?”
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Gavin snapped her way, baring his fangs. He pivoted, heading in her direction, his jawline twitching.
Every assassin knew all entrance and exit points in a house. In the position she found herself against the far wall, nowhere to go, her only way out was to fight. I don’t want to hurt him.
Where her traitorous thought came from, she hadn’t a clue. He drew closer to her by taking larger steps than her small ones away from him. His scent hit her nose and her jaguar paced under her skin. Her pussy began to throb. To ache. Gods, the slight twinge intensified, bringing her to her knees. On wobbly legs she rose to stand her ground, defiant, her claws unsheathed for self-preservation. Her mouth salivated, wanting a taste. His eyes glimmered in amusement. She watched him trace his bottom lip with his tongue. Her nipples hardened from the sensual act. A brief thought of what his lips would feel like grazing along her skin flitted through her mind.
“What are you afraid of?” His coarse question broke through the erotic thoughts stream-lining in her head. The second he stepped close enough to cage her body between the walls and his chest, she faced self-truth.
“You. Me.” Her second word was lost to their audience as his mouth crushed down on hers and she was taken in a tailspin of sensations. His possession dragged her into an abyss of dark pleasure. Anger never tasted so good. She heard herself moan and couldn’t stop herself from running her hands up his chest, her body leaning into his for more. Gavin angled his head to part her mouth with his tongue. The taste of him sent shards of electricity to pulse between her thighs. Her needy cunt creamed. Startled by his effect on her, she struggled to break free, and realized she’d just become an active participant in Gavin’s kissing game, with her mate as audience in the room with them. Guilt overwhelmed her and she panicked. Gavin nipped her bottom lip between his teeth and bit. The look on his face told her they were by no means finished yet. He gave her one additional suckle, let go, and pushed off the wall out of her close proximity. Like a beast guarding his territorial rights, she watched him scowl at the additional members of his team who’d come in at an inopportune time, including some she-bitch to the right of the room, whose attitude hit her full blast.

No Regrets, No Surrender

Buy No Regrets, No Surrender HERE

A little under a year ago, on Black Friday 2011, I decided to write a 1Night Stand featuring high school sweethearts reunited after a decade long separation precipitated by the events on September 11, 2001.  I had no idea when I wrote this first story that I would be sitting here a year later announcing the release of book #6, the follow-up to book #2, with four more turned in and scheduled for release or that I would be planning Marine stories stretching into 2014.

While Marines may be the 'smallest' branch of the U.S. military in the number of men and women who serve, they are among those with the 'largest life' on the page. Becoming a Marine is not simply a matter of enlistment, it's a matter of training, service, and dedication—which is why once a person achieves his or her goal of becoming a Marine, they are always a Marine.  Every Marine has a story and I've tried to capture those tales in these novels. I couldn't be prouder of this work and more delighted that it resonates with readers.

When Retreat Hell! She Just Got Here released in April 2012, readers asked—and in some cases demanded—more of Jazz, Logan and Zach. I wanted to write more about these wonderful characters, too. I am thrilled to announce the release of No Regrets, No Surrender and I invite you to help me tip my hat in salute to every Marine that has served our country and to their families, who also serve.

Freedom is not free and we must always remember that.

The emotional sequel to Retreat Hell! She Just Got Here. Readers wished for more Jazz, Logan and Zach and the threesome are reunited when the unthinkable happens.

Always a Marine #6
Publisher: Decadent Publishing
ISBN: 978-1-61333-420-1
Release Date:  20 Nov 2012

This sixth installment of the Always a Marine series for Decadent Publishing and a first for the series, as a spinoff of Retreat Hell! She Just Got Here. Jazz, Logan and Zach met via a 1NightStand. This is the business name of an exclusive online dating service run by Madame Evangeline who provides her clients with a possibility of happily ever after or happily for now.

A portion of the proceeds from the sales of No Regrets, No Surrender will be donated to Fisher House—the real life Mike's Place.

BLURB:
At the end of their night of frenzied passion, Jazz Winters walked away from the only two men who’d ever made her feel like a woman. Logan Cavanaugh and Zach Evans let her go, but only if she swore all her future leaves to them.

Waiting fourteen excruciatingly long months, visiting Jazz when they can, is harder on the guys that they like to admit. But their work at Mike’s Place, a veteran’s rehabilitative facility, only lets Zach and Logan go one at a time. Jazz fears their unconventional relationship can’t last a lifetime. The stress of years of military service in hot zones, combined with life-threatening injuries pushed her to the edge. But when she comes home a wounded warrior, not the woman she believes they want, Zach and Logan are right there to help her, even when she resists.

She’s not alone. Whether she chooses one or both, they have no regrets and they won’t surrender.

A Few of My Favorite Things

BUY Power Play HERE!
by Emily Cale

As winter approaches, I start figuring out how to hibernate through the colder months. That means I start nesting a bit and stocking my house with all the things I need to avoid going outside. Here are a few of my current favorite things.

1. Apple cider. I usually hold off and starting drinking apple cider until a little later in the season, but it got cold early this year. I'm a big fan of hot apple cider, especially with a little rum in it. They also sell apple liquors that are a delicious addition. What? That's not how you drink yours.

2. The Big Bang Theory. I own all the DVDs, but they also play them on TV a lot. This is one of my favorite shows and I find they are easy to rewatch. It's always nice to come home from a long day and have a good laugh. Added bonus: the husband likes it too so we can watch together.

3. Pumpkin Spice. Not the drink (sorry), but the smell. I don't actually like the taste of most of the pumpkin things put out (though I like pumpkin), so no pumpkin spice lattes for me, but I love the way they make the coffee shop smell. I always try to pick up a candle or two so I can extend that feeling for as long as possible.

4. Heated Mattress Pad. Somehow, I always forget about this during the summer. One night I am trying to fall asleep and complaining it's cold and suddenly remember I could turn it on. If you've never tried one, do it now. I've used both the mattress pad and blanket, and the mattress pad provides better heating. (Don't use them at the same time. It says so on the instructions. Plus, my husband thinks that would cook you.)

5. Mahjong. I know, it is not nearly as popular as Angry Birds, but I like it. Every game is a little different and I can regulate exactly how long I play. Not that I do, but I could. Added bonus: It usually comes free on your computer.

What are you currently in love with? Tell me and I'll pick someone to an e-copy of any of my Decadent Publishing books.
