Lego my Martian!

Remember the old Eggo Waffle commercial where the kid said, “Leggo my Eggo?” Well, this is more “Leggo my Martian!” It doesn’t really rhyme, but it’s kind of cute. After all, who but a scifi romance reader would grab a Martian anyway?
And if you’re going to grab one, the real question is, are they sexy? Are they worth grabbing?

I think a lot of readers find werewolves and vampires and demons sexy, so why wouldn’t Martians be sexy? Is it their green skin that might put people off? Well, I don’t think the Orion slave girls on Star Trek TOS had any trouble with that! See for yourself:

Besides, I think that Leader Desslok – who was blue-skinned and a cartoon character – was quite sexy as well! So the green is probably not a problem. Maybe, though, most might worry the Martians are smaller, considerably shorter creatures. That could be a problem, but don’t tell that to Peter Dinklage, cause he’d love to prove you wrong. No, the main problem with Martians is that they’re extinct.
In The Trouble With Memories, the proud Martian warrior race is dead and gone – or is it? When a determined scientist uses viral Martian DNA to create an artificial intelligence interface, he unknowingly resurrects the genetic backbone of the long lost species, which attempts an internal takeover.  As in, why bother to grab a Martian when the Martian is already grabbing you?
Now that’s a problem.

The Trouble with Memories
Helium toads!
Lieutenant Lucy Borasco has her phase pistol ready and her ex-boyfriend in her sights. She has every intention of making him pay for choosing his career over her. But she hadn’t factored in a Martian sneak invasion, Cal’s incessant need to save the universe, or the risk of permanent damage to her complexion. Getting Cal back will cost her more than she thinks, leaving her changed forever.
Captain California Sykes’ memories are gone, his career is in ruins, and his ex-girlfriend nearly kills him with a kiss. Can he overcome the Martian invasion, save the rest of the team and win Lucy back again in the process? Or will his seat-of-the-pants plans and the canned fish rations cost him everything he holds dear, including his sanity?

Here’s a snippet:
The windows flexed and the floor rumbled as the jets did another close fly-by. He ignored them in favor of intently ogling the rounded globes of Lucy’s ass. When she spun to face him, he nearly lost his balance.
Three steps later, she was in his face. He braced himself for her wrath.
Her fingers curled around his collar nice and tight. When she gave him a light shake, his head whipped back and forth. Maybe she was trying to rattle some sense back into his malfunctioning brain. “Comet tails, Cal. If this is some game you’re playing to make me miss you, I swear I’ll fill your ass with helium and shoot you out one of those planes!”
He loved how the fire in her eyes matched her hair and the way she jutted out her chin at the end of her pronouncement. But he’d told her the truth. This was no game. His memories of her were completely gone. “How can I prove to you I’m not lying?”
Her lips curled up in a smirk. “Kiss me.”
With a confident toss of her head she laid claim to him, answering his questions about how he’d known her. Hell, he hadn’t known her, apparently he’d known her. The news made his dick swell with pride. His mouth quirked into a cocky smile.
“Come on, Cal. Today’s Valentine’s Day after all.” Her hands caressed his neck, working their way up his jaw. “One little goodbye kiss won’t hurt.”
Her touch confused him. Familiar yet foreign. New sensations and ghostly memories rose toward the surface of his mind but were squashed before they reached the light. He shook his head but the cobwebs didn’t clear. Why couldn’t he remember? Everything but those fragging ships seemed vague.
A twinge in his right shoulder shot up his neck, and he couldn’t help thinking the pain was a warning. He braced for more, but none immediately came. He wanted out of this box, wanted answers. But he wouldn’t endanger anyone else to get them.
“Lucy.” His voice sounded hoarse, as if he’d sucked sand into his windpipe. “Don’t.” Down below, his cock begged, yes, yes, yes.

The Martians are Coming!

By Eva Lefoy

The Trouble with Memories
Martian Mating – Book 1

No, I’m not Orson Welles and this isn’t War of the Worlds and it certainly isn’t 1938 anymore. But the Martian invasion in my story is very, very real to the characters. You see, there’s this crazy scientist named Dr. Dravis who invents a psy-link pilots can use to interface directly with their ship. What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him, but the pilots who use the psy-link are gonna have a wild ride!

Some say DNA is the real “being” here on this planet. The one who keeps everything evolving and we are just pawns in its ever-changing game. Us hapless humans! And it’s the DNA Dr. Dravis uses that puts the Martians front-and-center in the tale. You see, the Martian DNA has a virus and once that virus gets into the human host, funny things start to happen.

Our hero – a hapless human! – Captain California Sykes, is an ace pilot, a real alpha male kind of guy. But then this sultry Martian woman gets into his head via the psy-link and bam! He’s blowing up the Mars Base in the name of Martian sovereignty! Er…oops.

The scientists try to help him out, by removing the psy-unit – and his memories – to keep him chilled out. Trouble is, his girlfriend Lucy isn’t used to being ignored. And when Cal starts remembering what he’s forgotten, the trouble really heats up!

What’s a girl to do up in the snowy mountains—with two hunks?

Coming Soon from Decadent Publishing!
Hello everyone! Stephanie Williams here. I’m here to talk about my latest book that will be coming out later this Summer. CABIN FEVER!

Now, a lot of you have been waiting for this book for a couple of years. Yes! A couple of years. But as you know, things can happen. Like life. One can get sidetracked or the author might want to change some things.

All of this happened with this book. LOL!

But have no fear, the book is finally going to hit the virtual bookshelves. YAY!

So what’s it about? I’m glad you asked.

It’s a ménage, but not your typical ménage. And for those who have read my other ménage books, you know I also have some conflicts going on with my characters and try to put more of an emotional spin on the subject.

CABIN FEVER is no different.

We open with our heroine, Sandra Peterson. She works as a nutritionist at Boot Camp, a fitness center, with two gorgeous trainers, Sean and Patrick. So far their relationship is strictly platonic. They’re great friends and do everything together—almost everything.

They work together beautifully and after hours, it’s not unusual that they hang out, either at the movies, shopping, dinner, or taking an overseas vacation.

In fact, they hang out together so much, people call them the Three Musketeers.

They’re together a lot. Just the three of them.  Wondering. She’s wondering what the guys are like in bed, and the guys are doing the same about her!

Yep, it starts to get complicated, especially after the guys find a woman’s magazine of Sandy’s, and what is the main article? A ménage a trois. And she has that page dog-eared to the point that it’s falling apart!

Of course the guys get ideas. And it just so happens that Sean’s Uncle Travis has a cabin up near the Rockies, that he wants Sean to take a look at and maybe buy. So the three of them pack up and head to the wilderness.

Of course, the guys knowing Uncle Travis, knows that there must be some strings attached. And sure enough, when the trio arrives they find out that they are way over their heads with a resort fixer-upper.

But like the relationship, the guys attack it head on.

But it’s not that easy. They even have a few doubts about the dynamics of a ménage for them.

What would happen if one of them really falls so hard for Sandy? What if the other doesn’t want to share? Sandy, when she realizes what the guys are up to, wonders if she could love two men equally—and keep their friendship intact.

It’s a roller coaster ride for the trio. Between a cabin that’s falling apart and a potential love triangle, there’s no telling what might happen.

Except maybe the hottest sex a girl can experience!

CABIN FEVER is my third ménage book. I love writing these. I think a lot of women have the fantasy of being loved by two men (or more). Few have that luxury, and can live in that lifestyle with no problem.

A ménage fantasy, to a woman, is different than a man’s I believe.

For a man, it’s more of a threesome, which is totally different. It’s just sex with another person at the same time.

A ménage is an actual arrangement between three parties. It takes strong personalities, people who are secure with themselves and willing to share with each other equally

It’s not just about the sex, although that plays into it, but it’s mostly about emotions.

And that’s why I love writing these sorts of stories. I love getting into the emotions of the characters, and the conflicts they have. I make sure I don’t have them so ready to jump into this sort of arrangement. I want them to have a soul-searching moment first, and even after they decide to move forward, they still have some reservations.

Is there a happily-ever-after with CABIN FEVER? Well of course you have to buy and see. LOL.

But don’t worry, time flies and the book will be out before you know it and you can sit out on your porch and read about a girl trapped in the snow with some sexy friends!

Madame Eve Comes to Freewill

Coming Soon!
By Camryn Rhys

We all knew it had to happen someday. It was too delicious an opportunity to pass up. Madame Eve and Freewill? Destiny!

Our Western Escapes town of Freewill, WY has been teeming with love stories, and they have been magnificent. From sheriffs to jewelers to chefs, we’ve seen them all fall in love. And the Gaines family has been in the midst of their own love bug. First Jamie, then Mattie… and now, the hot cowboy. Paul Gaines.

Aptly so, I’ve decided to host a Cowboys & Cocktails release party (link: http://camrynrhys.com/?p=150), which will be in full force starting today, and all the way through the end of June.  After all, what goes better with hot men than hard liquor? Nothing. That’s right.

So today, I’m going to share a little bit about this upcoming Western Escape/1 Night Stand crossover, and then let you guess what cocktail I think most represents the hot, hunky beefcake of a man that has stolen my heart. That’s right. Paul Gaines.

If you’ve been reading Decadent’s line of Western Escapes books set in Freewill, WY, you’ll know that Paul has been quite a favorite with the ladies. But since his antics almost ruined both the love prospects and professional prospects of his sister and her fiancé, Paul has amended his ways. His brother Brady (yummo!) gave him an ultimatum, and it finally stuck.

But Paul wants one last hurrah. A no-rules one-night-stand in Vegas. Far from his brother’s watchful eye, and far from the repercussions he seems unable to avoid.

So now we get to the fun part. Paul’s cocktail. What is it? You ask. Well, you. Before I reveal it (on the WE blog, very soon), I’m going to let you tell me what you think Paul’s signature cocktail should be. What kind of drink do you think Paul will be making for his blonde goddess, Sylvie Proulx?

Remember the rules of Cowboys & Cocktails… post the cocktail recipe or a picture of you drinking your own signature cocktail (Tweet it to me: @camrynrhys or hashtag #CowboyCocktails) to be entered to win the grand prize. And come to my blog during release week (the last week of June) to find more opportunities to win.

I hope you enjoy Paul’s story, and his cocktail. Happy reading… and drinking! J

Gaines & Losses blurb:
Sylvie Proulx has a very proper, professional life, where every second is scheduled and mouthful of food carefully documented and exercised away. But a woman has needs. So she discreetly requests a 1NS date from Madame Eve, only to be paired with a free-spirited cowboy from Freewill, Wyoming with a thing for steak.

Paul Gaines needs a sponsor for the national rodeo circuit and travels back to Vegas to seek out a meeting. He needs a date to the fancy party, and calls on a dating service he's known for a long time, expecting a night of fun and companionship. But the more he discovers about Sylvie, the more he wants to cover her in creme brûlée and teach her how to ride a horse.

Only Sylvie has very careful boundaries, and Paul only has one night to convince her to give him a tomorrow.
