The Femme Fatale Amphibian

By Elizabeth Morgan

As a lover of myths and fairytales, and all things paranormal, I often dive into my encyclopaedias on the hunt for new creatures to play with, or for inspiration for new stories. This little habit was the reason behind writing my erotic f/f short, On The Rocks.
Back at the beginning of 2012 I was flicking through my “A Field Guide to Demons, Fairies, Fallen Angels and other Subversive Spirits, by Carol K. & Dinah Mack,” when I came across the water category. My attention went straight to mermaids as I have always loved these particular creatures ever since watching The Little Mermaid as a child, but despite the fact I want to--and will someday--write a little something featuring one of these beauties, they have been written about so many times. And being somewhat stubborn, I wanted to play with a different type of water lady; that’s when I found the page on Nixie’s.

Quote:  “The Nixie is a freshwater femme fatale amphibian.”
Well, that was all I needed to know to get me interested, but as I continued to read I learnt that this femme likes to stick close by to communities, because she loves to shop and dance; that she can change forms and she is a cannibal.

Muse’s reaction: “Yummy! I want! I want!”

Yeah, my muse is a little twisted, but I trust her 110%.
Needless to say, on completion of reading this chapter on Nixies I was hooked and my mind was whirling with possibilities. Don’t get me wrong, my marvellous encyclopaedia did divulge oodles  more information which after rereading could help spin some future stories, but the basic information on these creatures was more than enough for me to whip up a sexy – and I have to say somewhat – twisted story, which I did. And I am very happy to say that this lil’ number found a home in 2012 with Decadent Publishing’s, “The Edge Erotica Series.”
A perfect fit, even if I do say so myself. ;-P

EXCERPT:
Her warm breath skated down my neck causing a shiver to curl around my spine. She straightened then slid her hands through my hair. My eyelids fluttered at the feel of her fingertips stroking over my temples and along my hairline.
“I saw you watching us.”
I stared at her. “Excuse me?”
“Do you like watching?” She retrieved a few items from the vanity table, twisted two sections of my hair, and pushed the hair clips into place. “It’s all right. You can tell me, Meghan.”
My body tightened at the husky way she said my name. The knot between my legs pulsed under her piercing stare. I had no idea how, or even why she managed to get under my skin, but God, I wanted her.
“I’m not a pervert or anything.”
“I know you’re not.” She slid a chain of small red flowers into the black mass of my hair.
“I just heard a noise. I guess my curiosity got the best of me.” I shifted on my seat. “I’m sorry—”
“Don’t be. I liked you watching.”
My nails dug into my knees as her hands moved down my throat. Her skin like satin—her touch, soft. She ran her fingertips over the top of my breasts.
“I would have asked you to join us, if you hadn’t run.” Her gaze caught mine again while she slid her hand inside my skin-tone bra. “Will you run now, or will you do what we both know you want to do?”

Can there be Love in Erotica?

How can such a short story contain both aspects? Well, Molly is searching for the man she loved, the man she lost. Without enough proof, she refuses to believe he’s dead, and sets off into space to find him. She gives up everything, leaves family and friends behind, for him. Would you do that for the person you loved?

And, of course, when she believes she’s found him, their reunion is hot and heavy. But is everything as it seems? Has Molly really found her fiancé?

Here’s an excerpt:
“Incoming message,” the computer chimed. “Source located one nautical mile away, starboard.”
She brushed her hands across the console and brought the video feed from the ship’s right hand side onscreen. The image quivered, and she groaned when it finally became clear. A Moloxian starcruiser.
Shit! I just want to go home. During her search, the crews of the few Moloxian scavenger ships she’d come across had been willing to let her pass if she traded with them. But she had nothing left, only enough food and fuel to reach Earth, and even then she’d be hungry during the last leg of her journey.
“Play.” She decided to listen to their demands, give them what they wanted, and move on. She had no other choice. Starvation was a better alternative than providing the sexual services they’d always hinted at. The Moloxians, though humanoid, had scale-covered bodies. So incompatible with her own. She wouldn’t survive unscathed and didn’t sleep around anyway.
“Prepare to be boarded.” The deep computerized voice shook her. No slur, and therefore not Moloxian. Who the hell was he?
She didn’t have time to contemplate. Her blood boiling, she gripped the arms of her chair. The creature, whatever species he happened to be, planned to come onto her ship. No one boarded without her permission, which she would not grant. At the sound of her transporter, like the pitter-patter of rain on Earth, she leaped from her seat and spun around. She grasped her bolt stunner and pointed it at the figure materializing into solid form before her eyes.
With a huge outline, the male boarding her ship would only bring her trouble. If his strength matched his size, she had one option: to kill him. She took in his bare, broad chest, sculpted abs, and muscled arms. His tanned skin shone with brilliance, as if the sun rested behind him. She gazed up at his dark hair and warm brown eyes. He studied her with an intense stare while his soft lips curved into a smile.
   She gasped. “Diego?”

Naughty Gift Ideas for the Holidays

By Jessica E. Subject
Hello everyone! With Christmas less than a week away, I’m sure many are still scrambling to find the perfect gift for all of the special someone’s in their lives.
So, I asked the characters from my Edge (erotica) stories to give me their best gift ideas for the sexy special someone in their lives.
Mare from Crash Landing – I’m going to get Tara a Clone-A-Willy kit. That way, when I have to return to the water, she can still have my cock inside her. I think I’ll get one for Cael, too.
Oscar from The Power of Three – A Tantric Massage Oil Candle is the way to go. Not only can I get my woman all revved up by the scent alone, but I can use the oil on both of my lovers, massaging it all over their bodies. Though, it will be even better licking it off of them.
Molly from Alien Lover – I’ve already arranged for a Boudoir Photography Session. That way, when Diego is traveling through space, he will still have the naughty pictures of me to remind him to hurry home.
GIVEAWAY!!!
For your chance to WIN an ebook of one of my The Edge (erotica) stories, tell me what naughty gift you would like under the tree. Perhaps someone dressed in only a red bow? J

How far can your imagination take you?

On the Rocks available HERE
Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to my friend and fellow Decadent author, Zee Monodee for suggesting a topic for my post today. I often find myself stuck on what to blog and I found I just had to answer this question:

How far can your imagination take you; what’s the line you wouldn't cross in PNR?

The paranormal genre is limitless. The possibilities are endless. There are so many myths and fables; so many documented creatures, all of which have come from somewhere, and are ever changing depending on their origin. The veil of truth on the existence of magic, creatures, and lost worlds is so very thin.

I for one believe that all of the above existed once upon a time, and the idea that there is so much more out there, beyond what we have been taught to believe is real or not, oh, it’s thrilling. As a reader it makes a story so much more enjoyable, as an author . . . heaven, because we can recreate these creatures, these legends and myths, over and over, changing them to fit into our worlds, making them fresh and new; making them real, 3-D.

This genre is a playground in which an author’s imagination can run wild. It is a genre in which you are free to even create new creatures and worlds because where there is a touch of supernatural, anything goes. Who are we to say what is and isn’t real when it is created outside the boundaries of what is classed as “normal?” If it is paranormal then it exists; it’s real, because anything is possible within this genre.
In regards to my own imagination, I have yet to reach a limit; I have yet to reach or even find a line that I wouldn’t be able to cross, and that would be because I have yet to stretch my imagination to its full potential.

I have been writing stories for three years now--not include the few projects I had as a teenager – and I can honestly say that I have only dipped my toe in the slush that is my warped little mind. I know there are more stories in me, bigger ones, more daring, more adventures and definitely ones that cross into genres that I don’t feel brave enough to take on just yet. Ideas just keep coming, mostly as dreams, terrifying, provocative dreams; each one is very different – although most contain that special dose of paranormal - but I still feel like there is more. So, I write them down and put them away, but I haven’t yet come to a line that I couldn’t cross, because there is always a reason for why events in stories happen, and sometimes, they aren’t pleasant.

Talking about unpleasant, I could have crossed a line with my F/F dark erotic paranormal short story, On The Rocks, which is part of Decadent Publishing Edge Series. I could have made the outcome a lot different, less “satisfying” and possibly macabre. Believe me, I was tempted, but I was too amused by the way the story turned out. You see, On The Rocks was the first story I wrote where I picked a lesser known creature and had the chance to mould her into something completely different.

On The Rocks is sexy, terrifying, and a little twisted. Curious? Here’s a little taste:

Interview with The Milkman

Buy The Milkman Cometh HERE
Today I’m interviewing Kate Richards about her “Edge” book, The Milkman Cometh. An Edge story is sexy, manytimes kinky and preferably takes the reader somewhere they haven't been before. They have sex earlier than in erotic romances, and more often.

Now about the Milkman Cometh:

I love the opening of the book! The milkman who wants to be a city slicker and not a country boy. And he really seems to like his job. Tell us, has Roberto had any other encounters with the housewives of Los Angeles County?

Oh, yes. Roberto does share some of this in the story, but he’s quite the playboy. Of course, he didn’t have any reason not to…at the start.

My, it must get hot there during the summer! Okay, so I see Roberto does make deliveries – special deliveries, wink wink - on his route. And he’s already noticed Alicia’s tempting green eyes. Tell us, how long has she been fueling Robert’s fantasies?

Since the very first time she bent over to pick up her milk and he noticed the sweet curves under her less than tightly-belted robe. She didn’t mean to share, and was quite embarrassed afterward, but Roberto was interested in seeing so much more.

It looks as though Alicia has noticed Roberto as well! What’s her secret plan? Why does she choose him? Where does she get the courage to put her plan in motion?

Alicia is tired of being the subject of gossip just because her husband has left her for someone else. She’s lonely and hurt at being abandoned by her friends. She doesn’t understand why he did her wrong and all the other wives treat her like a threat. So…if she’s going to be accused of something, she might as well have the fun!

Do they share sexual tastes? Are they a good match? Or is Roberto naturally a good match with every woman?

Roberto is, shall we say, gifted. He is capable of making many women’s carnal dreams come true. But his heart is not engaged until he meets Alicia, which also makes him an even better lover, since he desires to please her so much more.

Alicia is very emotional in this story. It’s as though a dam breaks. What has been holding her back all this time? What finally frees her?

It’s the 1950s, things are a whole lot more conservative and women’s roles more defined. She left her home and family in another state when her husband brought her to SoCal. Against their wishes. She is absolutely on her own, and her job ‘housewife’ went out the door with him. It took a while for her to process, grieve, and finally gather the courage to live her life as she chooses, but you’re right, once she does, watch out!

And Roberto changes too. It takes a lot for the sexy milkman to walk away from his long-time route. What makes him want to do so?

He doesn’t feel Alicia would appreciate his chatting with all his conquests on a daily basis, just being a considerate guy.

If you could go back and visit them six months later, what kind of sex would they be having? Can you describe it?

Ever heard of a key party? Roberto is not a saint, and Alicia is definitely cutting loose. While I am not saying that they would participate, you never know about these wild and crazy people once they get their guard down. And even if they don’t I have it on good authority, Roberto’s nephew has been even more of a run-around man than his not too much older uncle.

Thanks for letting me get to know Roberto and Alicia! I had a great time and know other readers will too.

Thank you for inviting me to stop by! I’d like to offer a copy of The Milkman Cometh to one of your commenters, if you’d like to close your eyes and select one at random.

Blurb:
Roberto’s reputation extends far beyond his efficiency as a milkman. He also provides intimate services to the many lonely ladies along his route. But he’s had his eye on a lovely divorcee for quite some time. One who has ignored all his flirting, so far.

Alice is ready to make a fresh start. Treated as the tract harlot, just because she’s on her own, she’s ready to make that name a reality. And she’s going to begin with the handsome milkman who has let her know on several occasions that he’s ready to deliver.

Roberto is playing with fire—a fiery redhead whose surprising innocence may steal his heart and leave the ladies of his route unsatisfied once again!

Excerpt:
Her lips twitched in amusement. Already naked when he walked in the door from work, she had special plans for them that night. She checked him out from top to bottom and her mouth watered.
“We’ve been together six months now, and I thought we should celebrate.” She sauntered forward with a seductive twist of her hips until she stood close enough to withdraw his belt and work the button loose on his pants. “I’d like to introduce you to the three Js tonight. What do you say?” She rubbed the front of his pants and dropped to her knees before unzipping him.
“What are the Js?” He gulped and she trembled with excitement to begin their night of sinful fun. Brody thrust closer to her face and threaded his fingers through her locks to urge her forward. The gesture filled her with satisfaction. The time had come to put her plan in motion and to show him their first J.
“Well, first there is Junior….” She pried her hair loose and bent to the side to drag a small box closer, her head bent forward giving him a perfect view. “Then there’s Jewels, and if you’re really good, and agree to proceed, Jack will come along later.”
She grinned before pulling out some lube and a small plug from their naughty box. “First, meet Junior.”

Best wishes,
Jennifer Labelle

There’s something about That Guy!

Buy the Sturgis Rally Riders Book Bundle on Amazon.com
By L.C. Dean

You know the one. We’ve all met him at least once in our lives. Some are lucky enough to hold onto him. Many of us do not. He comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors. He wears jeans, a uniform, a well-tailored suit, or maybe nothing at all. He’s a country boy, a city-slicker, a hot head or steady as a rock. He is each woman’s greatest fantasy. And while he may have commonalities with his brethren, he is unique in the way he catches our eye.

My That Guy was Taylor Harris (Name changed to protect my pride). He was 17 and I was 16. Looking back, I realize he wasn’t all that handsome, nor overly tall, but the boy only had to open his mouth and my knees lost the ability to hold me up. He commanded the stage like no one our small town had ever seen before. He could act and sing, and he won state orator two years running. Now that may not sound cool to some, but for me he was a god. Unfortunately, he was too busy being awesome in high school to ever notice me, but it didn’t stop me from writing poetry to his amazingness.

One of my best friends married her That Guy. He was a lineman for a local electrical company, and the first time she saw him he was up a pole, baggy jeans pulled over his muscled backside as he worked, and I have to admit he did something for his very ordinary uniform shirt and work boots. She tells me she knew in that instant he would be the one. No one else much noticed him. He was a diamond in the rough until the world saw him through her eyes. He’s still an ordinary guy in my mind. Granted, he’s funny and considerate and about the nicest man I know, but he doesn’t make my heart do a jig. But after twenty years together, my friend still grins whenever he walks into the room. They will be eighty and he will always be That Guy.

I think finding That Guy is why I write. While I look for someone to live up to or surpass Taylor, I write about the ones who make my heroines/heroes stop and smile, or shake their heads as there is something about That Guy.

For research purposes, and because I’m always curious, I would love to hear what That Guy is/was like for you. Did you keep him? Did he break your heart? Or was he just a stranger passing on the street who made you do a double-take and wish you could be his? Thanks for dropping by and be sure to enter the rafflecopter below.

Jet Ryan’s haunted by the memory of one night in the arms of a sexy tattoo artist who pushed all the right buttons before she shoved him out of her life. No one else seems to measure up. He needs her out of his system or in his life, preferably the latter. But, he’ll settle for one more night with her or a reasonable facsimile as long as he can touch her again.

Ink Monroe avoids expectations that might get her hopes up, doesn’t believe in endless possibilities, and has absolutely no room in her life for a guy who wants to take care of her. But damn, it would be nice to have all those things for a little while. So when a customer gives her a business card for a woman named Madame Eve, she asks for a man to solidify the hazy memory of a single night of passion followed by the best night of sleep she’d had in years.

Both have tall orders for a single evening of passion, but one night can lead to endless possibilities. Madame Eve promised.

Excerpt:

“What about you, Ink? What would you ask the amazing matchmaker Madame Eve for if you could have your perfect date?”

“Never thought about it.” She had no illusion anyone even faintly resembling perfect existed.
“If you did?”
She grinned and studied the finished outline. Satisfied, she changed her tip and loaded the first color, blazing red. “I don’t know. Someone different, I guess.” A shiver ran through her at the distorted yet delicious image that often flitted through her mind. She couldn’t remember his face, or even his name, but she would never forget his strong hands on her body, the comfort of his steady heartbeat as he cradled her through the night. Sometimes his unique scent filled her head—leather, spice, and something earthy and clean teased her to find him. “I think I might have had it once, but I was exhausted, on the verge of breaking down. I can’t recall much about him except he made me feel safe, and I slept better in his arms than I’ve ever slept alone.”
Her cheeks heated and she looked down. “I can’t believe I told you all that.”
He touched her wrist and then dropped his hand back to the position she had placed it in. “Don’t worry about it.” He wiggled around, digging in his pocket until she sat back with a sigh.
“Unless you want to look like you have a permanent infection running across your chest, hold still.”
“Give me a second.” The worn wallet he clasped fell open on its own. “Here.” He handed her a business card.
She held up her gloved and ink stained hands. “What is it?”
He chuckled. “Madame Eve’s ticket to paradise.”
With a smile, she returned to her work. “Lay it on the table.”

1NS shimmered in a classy embossed symbol on the upper corner of the card. What if the man was right? What if the service could make her fantasy come true? What if Madame Eve could recreate the peace and passion of the shadowed memory? She caught back a laugh of self-disgust. What if monkeys fly out of my ass?

Topic – Rope + Sex = A Good Time?

Buy Tied Down HERE

By Kacey Hammell
I think being tied up/down during sex – whether scarves, rope or ties for instance – is a powerful and liberating freedom that many enjoy.
Submitting to one’s partner, being on display, allowing them to show how much they wish to touch while the other is unable to resist or deter them from their journey… It’s a heady experience to be at someone else’s complete “mercy”, and it strengthens the trust between the couple.
How the rope touches someone’s skin – caressing, tight, sometimes even comforting – is sexy and powerful. And aphrodisiac, if you will, and adds to the baser senses. The inability to touch heightens the tension and desire for some. The helpless factor ramps up the sensations and it makes for a liberating experience.  With the passion and eroticism of the moment, there’s also a freedom of being tied up and surrendering. The freedom from everyday life, stress, and getting away from one’s own thoughts. Feeling completely alive to enjoy someone else’s care.

Not many people are willing to give up any control, such as Isabella in TIED DOWN, but it takes a strong man to show her the true person she is. He has to be in tune with who she is – as a woman as a whole – and know what makes her tick, what drives her and the best time to make “his move”. Brady loves his lady and will do whatever he can to fulfill all her dreams and desires…and his own!

Tied Down
The time has come for Brady Jacobs to grab hold of the woman he loves and their future. But his lady, Isabella Knowles, is skittish. She’ll bolt at the mention of a future with him. He needs to handle her with precise planning, tools to seduce and never give her a moment to flee.
Brady will tie her down, pleasure her, push her farther than she’s ever experienced…then ask her to marry him. But no amount of planning can ensure Bella’s answer won’t include the business end of her Glock.

Get In Touch With Kacey:

Excerpt:
Isabella stirred at a tug on her ankle. She shifted, not in any way eager to wake up.
Snuggling her cheek deeper into the pillow, she sighed. The web of slumber curled around her as she relaxed again.
At the shuffle of footsteps and a thump, she stirred. Her eyes flew open and she lifted her head. As she shifted to her side, she gasped.
Why couldn’t she move?
Jesus, what the hell?
Danger screamed through her mind while she took in the room around her. Right where she’d fallen asleep, in Brady’s bed.
No need to fear for her safety. Right?
“What the fuck is this?” Damn the bindings around her wrists and feet. “Brady!” she screamed. She’d kill the bastard who dared to enter their personal space. Cripes, if he’s been hurt, she’d carve out their hearts and throw the bodies in the ocean.
“Brady!”
“I’m right here, babe.”
His head appeared over the foot of the bed. Her heart skipped a beat. Safe. Her head fell back in relief. She’d die if something happened to him. Could never relive him ever being hurt again. She’d barely survived once before when he’d been stabbed and almost blown to bits. She did not ever want to go through anything like it again.
“You okay, babe? These scarves aren’t too tight, are they?”
So lost in her own thoughts, she forgot she lay there, tied like some prisoner.
“What the hell? What’s going on?” He knelt at the end of the bed. She gaped as she took in her naked body, the scarves holding her legs and arms captive. Her heart rate accelerated. She had no control over any of this. Desperate to get out of the ties and the situation, she pulled hard, jerked her limbs to escape their captivity.
“Fuck! Goddamn it. Let me loose.”
