Spring
is in the air, kinda. Well, not quite. It should be, though. For goodness
sakes, it’s March!
Due
to what feels like an incredibly long, drawn out Winter, I hit up Shaun from
Bell’s Irish Pub, and gathered some tasty recipes to help put a spring back in
our step.
Sweet Irish Kiss is sure to raise the spirits with its sweet n
minty take on the more common cocktail, Irish Kiss. In a cocktail glass… Mix equal parts of
coffee liqueur and Irish cream then pour over ice.
Top with
whipped cream. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings. Decorate with mint leaf.
Shamrocked
is definitely
a strong drink with a kick. Pucker up for this one, because you’ll be skipping
all the way through the St Pat’s parade with this in ya belly. In
a shot glass… Mix
equal parts of Irish cream, whiskey, and melon liqueur over ice.
Threesome Sweetness is in chase Shamrocked
isn’t heat enough for you. Neck this hottie and feel the burn. Winter? What Winter!?
*hiccup* In a shot glass… One shot each of the following: Irish Cream, Brandy,
Tequila liqueur. Swirl ingredients together.
Hot Winter Kiss is for the traditionalist who’d rather snuggle
up and enjoy the cozy Winter weather. Here’s a fireplace perfect drink just for
you. In
your favorite mug… Fill a mug three quarters full with hot, black coffee.
Add one shot of Irish cream and one shot of coffee liqueur. Stir. Top with
whipped cream and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
