SCORN is the second in The Silk Series, five
interconnected tales about a group of law-loving people who studied or lived in
Cambridge in Victorian England. SILK &
SCORN is Sarah and Arthur’s story, childhood antagonists who find
themselves thrown together when Sarah requires Arthur’s legal expertise.
Slowly, they discover the prejudices of childhood may have been exaggerated and
there are qualities to admire in each other, and perhaps even love...
