Just The Facts Friday – Casea Major Edition

I love 70's music.  I would rather listen to Paul McCartney & Wings than the Beatles.
Here is my favorite Paul McCartney & Wings song.  It's the ringtone on my phone.

I taught myself to crochet watching You Tube.

I have insomnia and do my best writing after midnight.

I graduated from a High School that specializes in Performing and Visual Arts….a long time ago.  I specialized in theater.

I have three children.  One is adopted and one is a girl – they are the same one.
I studied Greek and Theology in college.  Many of my stories are inspired by biblical stories.
Yes – even the erotic ones.  You might be surprised what all's in there.
Here is the blurb for my upcoming release with Decadent's 1NS, One Knight in Brooklyn:
After signing up for a one night stand through an exclusive matching agency, recent college grad and hopeless romantic Marianne Caldwell is swept away to a medieval land where she hopes to spend the night with a worthy man of honor.
Unsure of how she got from the Castillo Hotel in Vegas to a castle in Sherwood Forest, Mare finds Robert, whose stunning physique and winning smile immediately convince her he's the Robin Hood she's been seeking.  But despite his efforts in saving her from a corrupt sheriff, his Jersey Shore accent and coarse ways unravel her romantic visions.
With her fairytale fantasies coming unhinged, Mare must decide if Robert is just a crass car salesman from Brooklyn or the chivalrous knight she's looking for.

I was born in Nottingham and spent many happy childhood days tramping around the major oak in Sherwood Forest. Never met a Robin Hood though. The huge tree was so ancient it had to be propped up with stakes. I'm not even sure its still there now.
If I go back in time - I want to meet the Kevin Costner Robin not Russell Crowe!

LOL - Barbara. What great memories! Too bad about not meeting a Robin Hood. I actually wouldn't mind meeting Jonas Armstrong from the series. I would love to go to Sherwood Forest.

lovely post, and once I again I will say this series is fabulous! can't wait to read this one. And I'd be in the Russell Crowe Robin Hood Camp myself.
cheers

You were a Theology major and you write erotica! But yes, there are quite a few racy bits in the Bible! I guess you studied those extra hard. LOL Great post, Casea.

My Robin Hood vote goes to Sean Connery in Robin and Marian, although I love the Costner version too. :)

Sounds like a great book! What a change going from Theology to erotica :)

Liz - I would not turn down a visit with Russell either or Sean Connery, Jenna. There have been so many great Robin Hood movies over the years.

Loved that you learned to crochet watching YouTube! I can only imagine...lol! I love Greek Mythology and think it's awesome you use Theology to write your stories. Thanks for sharing your facts.
Your book sounds fantastic!

Jennifer - the Bible has some pretty racy parts. You would be surprised.

Thanks, Summer. I'm sending you a link to the lady on You Tube. She makes it simple.

Given that I'm a heathen, I wouldn't know for sure, but isn't the Song of Solomon rather racy?

Any-way, Robin Hood with Jersey accent. Love it.

Great post, Casea. Loved all the tidbits about you, even the ones I already knew. I also think it's awesome you're inspired by your education background and that passion really shows up in your stories.
