So my dears, I’ve heard rumors that many of you want to know more about the mysterious Madame Eve. I can’t reveal too much or the mystery would be no more, n’est-ce pas? But I will tell you as much as you need to know for now…
I am from the Alsace region of France.
I do not live in France now. I will not tell you where I live.
I believe love and wine are essential to our happiness. Beer adds a wonderful element as well.
I am not a woman who is afraid to tell people my age. However, I also don’t believe it’s anyone’s business. I will tell you that I am quite old, but have no intention of passing until my job here is complete.
I have been in love once. That was enough. It will last me a lifetime.
Have a question for Madame Eve? She will answer the ones she thinks you need to know! And one inquiring mind will win a copy of the 1Night Stand book of their choice!

dear Madame Eve,
how in the world do you manage to make such perfect matches? So many people, (and others) have met their soul mate through your service. Are you magical? Or just have great intuition?
Yours humbly
Liz
I am not magical. Love is magical. I bring people together through intuition and let love weave its lovely magic between them.
How did you make matches before the age of the Internet? I can only imagine that skills such as yours took a lifetime to perfect.
Oh, and how did you meet the Castillos?
:D
What's the secret to real romantic dinner menu?
Do you think that true love can be sparked with an instant’s recognition, or do you think it needs time to grow and develop?
Darling Madame Eve, allow me to begin by thanking you for all you do. I bow to your skills. Question - You say you have had a great love in your life and that was enough. Do you believe in only one true love for each person or because of the various levels of emotion and changes in life and circumstance, can a person have more than one truly abiding bond with another in a lifetime? I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Ann, I made matches successfully using the standard methods: letters, telegrams and carrier pigeon.
Maureen - see my notes above. Any romantic dinner menu must include wine. Preferably from the Alsace region. I am showing my bias unashamedly.
Oh, Becky! My entire business is based on the premise that a spark of love can happen between two people ready for it. Do you have need of my services, dear?
Becca, you're very welcome. It is a labor of love. Regarding love, ah it is a wonderful and essential part of life. I only needed one true love to keep me happy and content for the rest of my life. Some people are fortunate to find it many times. Many of my most successful matches have been a second (or third) chance at love.
I have found that some people cannot be alone and need that vital connection to another person throughout their lifetime, even if it means they will love more than once.
My intuition tells me that you have found your one true love and will not be needing my services.
Madame Eve, you are truly a one in a million. You make so many successful matches for people who get the happily ever after they deserve.
But has there been anyone you've been unable to find a match for?
I look forward to reading about more of your success stories.
Love Liia :-)
Oh my! Liia, to ask me to advertise my failures would be unwise for this businesswoman! I have a very good record of successful matches.
Can't blame a girl for trying right? I'm sorry, that's the journalism studies coming out ;-)
My question is ... will you ever write your memoirs! I would love to know more about your love story! :)
A memoir? I have never given it any thought. I don't know but perhaps! What shall we call Madame Eve's memoirs?
Madame Evangeline,
You are truly an amazing woman! I would like to know which match will always be your most memorable.
I think it would make the NY times for 100!! :) great time now get writing! :) Any hints about the love of your life?
Bon jour Madame, I hope you are well and am happy to see you blog here. So many people have benefitted from your remarkable match making skills and you have brought happiness to so many. The people you have matched have come from all walks of life, backgrounds and challenging experiences. My question is; you have even helped people who have highly unusual life challenges, such as werewolves, vampires, ghosts, psychics, etc. Do you find it particularly challenging to find matches for those in the supernatural realm? How do you manage to make such perfect matches? Thank you for all you do, I look forward to hearing more about you, and future couples whose lives have been touched by your blessed skills! All the best, Kali
Dear Eve...

Fondly...

Madame Eve, mon amour! I have been searching for you for so long, ma petite, and yet you keep running. Why is that? Surely you can see past my lack of hair and the few gaps in my teeth. My dress sense is second to none - well second only to yours, ma souris. Tell me where you live and I shall fly there in a moment in order to display my deep love for your wonderful fingers and toes. This will be our secret, ma chatte, but if you could send me the airfare, I'd be very grateful. I will of course bring your gifts - the greatest of which is my body - only sagging in a few places - but not sagging in the one that matters!!!
grosses bisses - M
I did not think revealing I've known great love would evoke such probing questions! I can tell you three things: he was like no other, my memoirs would be filled with him and he was the greatest match I ever made. I strive to find everyone a love to equal my own.
June, I have thought a long while on your question and whether I will answer it. But Madame Eve will tell you that she is not the first Madame, but one in a long line. This is a calling for me. A very fun as well!
