The Femme Fatale Amphibian

By Elizabeth Morgan

As a lover of myths and fairytales, and all things paranormal, I often dive into my encyclopaedias on the hunt for new creatures to play with, or for inspiration for new stories. This little habit was the reason behind writing my erotic f/f short, On The Rocks.
Back at the beginning of 2012 I was flicking through my “A Field Guide to Demons, Fairies, Fallen Angels and other Subversive Spirits, by Carol K. & Dinah Mack,” when I came across the water category. My attention went straight to mermaids as I have always loved these particular creatures ever since watching The Little Mermaid as a child, but despite the fact I want to--and will someday--write a little something featuring one of these beauties, they have been written about so many times. And being somewhat stubborn, I wanted to play with a different type of water lady; that’s when I found the page on Nixie’s.

Quote:  “The Nixie is a freshwater femme fatale amphibian.”
Well, that was all I needed to know to get me interested, but as I continued to read I learnt that this femme likes to stick close by to communities, because she loves to shop and dance; that she can change forms and she is a cannibal.

Muse’s reaction: “Yummy! I want! I want!”

Yeah, my muse is a little twisted, but I trust her 110%.
Needless to say, on completion of reading this chapter on Nixies I was hooked and my mind was whirling with possibilities. Don’t get me wrong, my marvellous encyclopaedia did divulge oodles  more information which after rereading could help spin some future stories, but the basic information on these creatures was more than enough for me to whip up a sexy – and I have to say somewhat – twisted story, which I did. And I am very happy to say that this lil’ number found a home in 2012 with Decadent Publishing’s, “The Edge Erotica Series.”
A perfect fit, even if I do say so myself. ;-P

EXCERPT:
Her warm breath skated down my neck causing a shiver to curl around my spine. She straightened then slid her hands through my hair. My eyelids fluttered at the feel of her fingertips stroking over my temples and along my hairline.
“I saw you watching us.”
I stared at her. “Excuse me?”
“Do you like watching?” She retrieved a few items from the vanity table, twisted two sections of my hair, and pushed the hair clips into place. “It’s all right. You can tell me, Meghan.”
My body tightened at the husky way she said my name. The knot between my legs pulsed under her piercing stare. I had no idea how, or even why she managed to get under my skin, but God, I wanted her.
“I’m not a pervert or anything.”
“I know you’re not.” She slid a chain of small red flowers into the black mass of my hair.
“I just heard a noise. I guess my curiosity got the best of me.” I shifted on my seat. “I’m sorry—”
“Don’t be. I liked you watching.”
My nails dug into my knees as her hands moved down my throat. Her skin like satin—her touch, soft. She ran her fingertips over the top of my breasts.
“I would have asked you to join us, if you hadn’t run.” Her gaze caught mine again while she slid her hand inside my skin-tone bra. “Will you run now, or will you do what we both know you want to do?”

On The Rocks
(The Edge Erotica Series)

BLURB:
On the Rocks is the hottest club on South Padre Island, and Meghan’s new workplace.
If the warped mermaid uniform isn’t enough, the fact that she can’t stop thinking about the club’s singer, Zenzie, is. Everything about the female gets Meghan hot, but when she finally gets her shot with the temptress, it turns out Zenzie isn’t as perfect, or as human, as Meghan thought.

Let’s Talk Romance

Available HERE
By Elizabeth Morgan

“Romance is all about interpretation, babe. Some people might see rose petals, wine, and chocolates, but others may see tequila, salt, and limes as the perfect way to seduce one of the hottest girls they have ever known.”

~ * ~

It’s the day after Valentine’s Day, so let’s talk romance.
I’m sure we all have our own idea of what romance is, from the scenery, to the background music, to what you’re eating/doing, and perhaps even the words that you and your partner might say to each other, but romance, like a few things in life is all down to personal taste; and interpretation.
The stereotypical – mostly used shall we say – setting for a romantic situation usually involves roses, candles, and soft music. It’s usually night time, and we are somewhere private, and there is a table set out for a tasty meal, and a bottle of champagne. Now, who wouldn’t want to enjoy an evening like this at least once in their life? Who doesn’t like the idea of being wined and dined?
But I, personally, believe that romance is all about who you spend it with, the feelings you share. Call me boring, but I think sitting on a bench eating fish and chips can be just as romantic; snuggled up at home watching television. It’s the little things that make your heart flutter, bring a smile to your face, and make you feel happy.
I hope that’s how you all felt yesterday. I hope you had a lovely evening with that special someone, and that you also remember to be thankful for love every day of the year and not just on Feb 14th.
Cameron, the leading male, from my sexy new release, Truth or Dare? Isn’t what you would call stereotypically romantic - not with words or actions – in fact he is a little devious, but when it comes to Dani he is damned determined to get to the bottom of her feelings one way or the other, and what better way could there be but a tequila fuelled game of Truth or Dare? Yeah, you better believe he knows how to knock a girl off her feet. ;-P

Excerpt:
“Fine, I will take a dare.” I glanced at Ben. “What do you want me to do?”
A wicked grin spread across his lips. It was almost as sexy as his brother’s. “I want you to lick salt off Cameron, and then take the lime from his mouth.”
He had to be fucking kidding. “What?”
“You heard the man.” The amusement ran clear in Cameron’s voice.
An idiotic bout of nerves skipped through me. “And do I dare ask where I will be drinking the tequila from?”
Ben’s gaze flicked to Cameron, who I couldn’t bring myself to look at. Holding up my hand, I cut Ben off before he suggested anything else.
“Never mind. I’ll do it.” Untangling my legs, I slid off the sofa, levelling a look at Cameron.
He pulled his T-shirt over his head, and my mouth dried at the way his six-pack rippled with each movement. He was solid, perfect. His skin was a healthy bronze. A fine dusting of dark hair ran from his navel and crept down into his jeans. I couldn’t help but follow the teasing path with my gaze….
“See something you like?”
Did I ever. I hated to admit it, but he was the kind of guy you just wanted to lick—well, anything off of.
“Nope. I’m just wondering why removing your top is necessary. Scared I’m going to spill my drink on your T-shirt?”
His lips turned upward. “Man told you to lick salt off me, but he didn’t say where you would be licking the salt from.”

Truth or Dare?
Blurb:

Do you dare tell the truth?
A tequila fuelled game of Truth or Dare is not Dani’s idea of fun, but when Cameron, the jerk who rejected her a year ago is the one provoking her into playing, how can she say no? Not that he’s giving her the option in the first place.

Bravado compels her forward, but when the dares get physical and their friends leave them alone, Cameron’s questions turn to her feelings for him, and unfortunately, lying is not part of the game.

Will a dare give Dani the courage she needs to tell Cameron the truth?

What’s the Dare YOU Wouldn’t Do?

By Elizabeth Morgan

Today marks the release of my naughty new release, Truth or Dare? As you can probably guess by the title, the book does feature a game of Truth or Dare, which is helped along by a bottle of tequila.
I had a lot of fun writing this short story. Cameron is crude, and big-headed, and sexy as hell, and Dani, is proud and stubborn, and well, she is scared to admit the truth about her feelings, because she would see herself as pathetic. (Let’s face it; I’m sure a lot of us have felt that way before over someone or something.)
With a little push and some tequila, Cameron is determined to strip the truth from her and he won’t let her back-out of playing until she proves – and he believes - she feels nothing for him, but like I said, Dani is a little on the stubborn side, so it may take a couple of dares to loosen her tongue . . . and clothing. ;-P
Now, I can honestly say Cameron and Dani have no problem taking dares. Myself, well, I must admit if I had a little liquid courage in my system and a man as hot as Cameron giving me deliciously naughty dares . . . I might find I have more guts than I would like to admit, but I can say with all certainty there are plenty of dares I wouldn’t do.
Now, I could easily write an essay, and right on top would be “spiders.” I wouldn’t take a dare that involved anything to do with the evil eight-legged ones, but to keep this post as an actual post I will tell you the one dare I wouldn’t do that you will find mentioned in the book.
Go streaking through Dani’s apartment building.
I wouldn’t go streaking. Full Stop. Not even around a room, or in the privacy of the apartment itself. Me running around butt naked wouldn’t be a pretty sight, I can promise you that. Knowing my luck I would get locked outside the building and a bus full of people would drive past. God, I would be mortified.
Every other dare mentioned in the book . . . Well, I don’t think you could blame me for at least considering doing them. ;-P
