Ashlynn's Playlist

Like so many other authors, I too listen to music when I write.  One of my favorite songs is Puddle of Mudd’s Spaceship. I heard it for the first time at the halfway point in writing Passion’s Escape and this was the only song I listened to for a month, and I still like it.

The video is awesome, but I’d expect no less from this kick butt band.  Right now, I’m working on Salvation, my third and final book in the Vengeance series with Decadent Publishing.  My playlist for it includes a couple of other Puddle of Mudd songs. Psycho has been one of my favs since it was new and She Hates Me is another oldie but goody from this fantastic group of talented musicians.

This is my play list for Salvation:

Spaceship
Psycho
She Hates Me
Chevelle-Closure
Chevelle-Send the Pain Below
ACDC-Thunderstruck
White Snake-Love Will Set You Free
Nickleback-Saving me
Niclkleback-Animals
Beastie Boys-Intergalatic
Godsmack-Awake
Godsmack-Vampires
Filter-Take a Picture
Seven Mary Three-Cumbersome
Belly-Feed the Tree
Cowboy Junkies-Witches
B52’s-Roam
Bjork-The Dull Flame of Desire
Nicki French-Total Eclipse of the Heart
10 Years-Beautiful
10 Years-So long Good bye

There are more but you’d get sick of reading this if I listed them all.  I’m a bit eclectic in my musical tastes but dark and sad really works for me right now.  The final installment will really be exciting, look for book two, Retribution, this Friday.

Why don't they leave me alone? I have no time for photo shoots. There are more important things on my mind.

Shiela Stewart:
This is back when I was sweet and innocent. And then I grew up! Muhahahahahaha!!

Leanne Dyck (The Sweater Curse):  "My huge head full of words waiting to put pen to paper." (Picture taken in 1962 by my Dad)

Ellen Keener ~

First, I always liked cars better than Barbie.  Second, can you tell that Mom always cut my hair, and I hated it? When we lived in Winchester, the neighbors actually had to explain to friends once that the screaming coming from our backyard wasn't because I was dying  - it was just Rich (my mom) cutting Vanessa's hair.
Wendy Burke
From a very young age, Wendy Burke was destined to be full of hot air.

This was umm... 1965 or so.
Looks like I managed to water everything -- except the dilapidated plant which is crying out for some... water!
That’s what I call precision splashing, it takes a lot of practice!
