2014 is flying by...

Hi peeps,

So I don’t know about you guys, but I’m stunned it’s almost Easter. Where did this year go? I could swear it was New Year’s Eve only yesterday, and the promise of 2014 was tantalisingly near. Now, it’s almost halfway gone!

Still, I can’t complain. I love Easter and all the fun it brings (especially the public holidays!) I have a tradition with my friends of hosting a dinner party, which has sadly been a non-event these last few years. This year, though, it’s back in full swing and I’m planning an extravaganza to make up for the last few years.

I’m having a think about what to serve and would love your suggestions. I will, of course, make hot cross buns but I’m wide open to any other ideas. What do you think? Let me know in the comments and one commenter will be picked at random to receive some SILK & SCORN swag.

Happy Easter, everyone!

Cassandra grew up daydreaming, inventing fantastical worlds and marvelous adventures. Once she learned to read (First phrase – To the Beach. True story), she was never without a book, reading of other people’s fantastical worlds and marvelous adventures.

Fairy tales, Famous Fives, fantasies and fancies; horror stories, gumshoe detectives, science fiction; Cassandra read it all. Then she discovered Romance and a true passion was born.

So, once upon a time, after making a slight detour into the world of finance, Cassandra tried her hand at writing. After a brief foray into horror, she couldn’t discount her true passion. She started to write Romance and fell head over heels.

The love affair exists to this very day.
