Why Ménage?

Available HERE
     by Laci Paige

Why not? It’s taboo, forbidden, and a fantasy that I know many people have, including me. I’ve never been a part of one, but that’s where my imagination came through for writing the novella, Let’s Keep On Truckin’.

My muse kicked into gear during one my families many road trips. We usually stop at truck stops, and it got me thinking about how lonely long haul truckers might be, do they have families, are they single, and when would they have time to date….

With my brain going a mile a minute, my muse was whispering in my ear, and I listened to what became Lily’s story. It was my first shot at writing something erotic. Something I would never have imagined I would do. I was a shy quiet girl in school. I did what I could to avoid the teacher, and I turned beat red when they called on me. So when people from my childhood find out what I write, they really can’t believe that the once shy girl has these thoughts bouncing around in her head.

Bur really, what good girl doesn’t dream to be bad one day?

Lily loves traveling on her job since no one can do it better than her. Being out on the open road gives her plenty of time to reflect and avoid unwanted attention, but somehow it always finds her....

When she comes across Ryder, first at a grocery store, then at a rest stop, sexual desire sparks and she knew she had to have him. If only her ex hadn't shown up, igniting a fantasy she never thought possible.

Seeing Alex in a whole new light, Lily realizes second chances are in order, but will she have to choose between the two men? Or could she be happy with both?

Why Write Ménage?

by Stephanie Williams

A question I get every now and then. And I always say: Why not!
My goodness, two gorgeous men lovin’ on one woman.  Can’t beat that. Great sex times two. Really can’t beat that.

I could stop there, but as you know it’s more complicated with that, at least with my stories. Don’t get me wrong, writing those sex scenes with two men on one woman is enough for me to turn on the A/C, but I have to remember that even though this is fiction, I still need to deal with the emotions that can arise in such a relationship.

As some of you know or may not know, with my ménages, I write with some kind of firsthand knowledge. That’s all I’m saying on that. You can go to my blog for more details. LOL.

Anyway, there are very complicated emotions that go along with a relationship like this, and I love to delve into that with each story.

I never have the heroine, the object of the men’s desire, just jump into a ménage arrangement without marinating on it. In fact, sometimes I have her flat out reject the idea—even though she might be thinking about it.

It’s up to my men to convince her that the relationship can work, and she has to look inside herself and be honest with herself that this is what she truly wants and to take a chance as with any other relationship.

Is this just for fiction writing? Again, I write from what I know. I have seen it work in real life situations. Sometimes it’s not just the sex, but the emotions between the parties and that’s what I try to capture in my stories.

So again, why write ménage? Because it’s a fascinating arrangement that tests true human emotions and unconditional love.

Please chime in on this. What do you think? Do you think this is a relationship that can work? What do you think about those that participate in it? Could you entertain the idea yourself?  Don’t be shy now. WINK WINK

It’s more than packages and Christmas candy for Nadia, when her two best male friends give her what she’s been wanting for a long time.
Roger and Jasper “accidentally” read Nadia’s diary and find out her secret desires! They believe they’re the perfect boyfriends for her and are more than willing to give her the Christmas gift of a lifetime.
Wait ‘til Christmas when Nadia sees what’s under the tree!

What I found interesting about creating a ménage relationship in my western novella, Setting Boundaries, was the potential for the heroine’s character development. She has to be sensitive to the physical cues of not one, but two, alpha males. In effect, doubling the needs she has to consider. By creating male characters who were opposites (one who was tough as nails and the other easygoing), I could then highlight different aspects of her personality. She might be sensual and hot, and a little bit intimidated, by one guy but be playful and teasing with the other partner.

For me the trio relationship works best when the men know each other well (in this case, they’re brothers) so their comfort level of being partially or fully naked in another man’s presence is a given. And lastly, I think a ménage taps into almost every woman’s fantasy for having all her needs met at the same time. A delicious indulgence in hedonism.

Blurb:
Widow Trixy Manville is desperate to save her cattle and turns to a neighbor with an offer—his pick of her best calves in exchange for water rights. Garth Rutger negotiates for one night of hot, unforgettable sex from the woman he’s wanted for the past decade. A bit of humiliation might assuage his yearning. After her first refusal, he raises the stakes to a ménage that includes his brother. Will Trixy’s agreement lead her to a pact with the devil, or the sexual exploits she’s been craving?

I think that just about EVERY woman has entertained the idea, even if they would never do it. How can you not? It's hot! *fans self*

Great post ladies. I think it's something that most folks think about at least once in a life time. But as a passing fantasy. In the past it was more common to see stories written featuring 2 women with 1 man. But times they are chaining. And for me I LOVE the the menages that feature 1 woman and 2 men. I like and prefer to see the empowerment of women where the sole female is the focus of ALL of the attention. lol I'm selfish that way. So bring on the m/f/m menage.

In general, women love M/F/M as much men love F/M/F. It's the same drive to be the center of attention as being a rock star or an actor. Only now are we women learning that a little bit if selfishness is a good thing. *wink*
