revelers were nestled all snug in their beds

visions of sugared plums danced in their
heads
And
Maise in her nightie, and Reece in his boxer-briefs
had
just settled down for a long-night’s tête-à-tête
When
out on the balcony, there was such a clatter

hotel manager Johnny checked to see what’s the matter
And
there what did he behold?
Visions
of holidays past, present and future
Some
yet untold …

staggered back, and shrouded his eyes

ballerina, a choreographer, a marketer, and a baker
A
vision of loveliness just out of his sight

sparkle of love dust filtered through the air

Johnny reached out, only to dare

Death sucks.
