Let me preface by explaining how I did this. These songs are listed in order of particular events/happenings in the book, but are not listed according to chapter necessarily. Next to the song and the artist, I have also listed (in italics) which characters point of view that particular song is from and possibly a few notes to go along with it. Okay, here we go.
- Blood Lust by Lauren Shera (Charlotte): This is sort of my theme song for the entire book.
- In My Arms by Plumb (Valek): This song is for the moment when Valek finds Charlotte abandoned in the streets of Prague and decides to adopt her. *not a spoiler because this is in the first chapter which Ive already released for your previewing pleasure1*

Wow. Now I just heard Florence and the Machine on a repeat of SNL the other night. Man, what a set of pipes!
I'm impressed that you saw so much of your book this way. I generally find one or two scenes with a good theme song, but not so many!
Impressive!
That's a big list for one book.
I don't have playlists for books, I enjoy listening to certain music at certain times, but not into the playlist thing. I find it fascinating though.
We all work differently. Usually I will listen to music just for the sheer inspiration of it, but not to playout my book.
Interesting how writers go about their work though isn't it.
Love and blessings

Nice list! We have a lot of the same tastes.... Great songs on there. I give you credit for assigning each to a scene. I'm never so organized!
Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed it! Yes - music is a HUGE influence on my writing and I just love the idea of a hand-picked soundtrack partnered up with a story!
