Just the Facts Friday ~ Robert Roman's secrets revealed!

Bet you didn't know THIS about Robert Roman!

- took nearly five years of karate lessons as a kid
- wanted to get into the military (tried THREE times) but my eyes weren't good enough

- love "Mission to Marzipan" ice cream, can't stand
marzipan
- forget that last fact at least once a year and buy marzipan

- will do things both terrible and wonderful for a sufficient
quantity of tiramisu or baklava
- is dieting (lost 45 pounds so far) and is thus food-obsessed

- is lying about the connection between the two last facts, but not the facts themselves
- connects writing with cooking and sex, but reading only with eating

- has no sense of enormity

My husband loves marzipan! I must find this ice cream for him!

Congrat on the weight loss and yes, it's one of those things that happens. The more you diet, the more you can't stop thinking about food. So, the danger lies is when you reach your goal but you still can't stop thinking about food...

Been there, done that.

Marzipan...one of my Decadent vices, yum! I haven't seen this ice cream but you're really cruel to introduce me to it! And if you can throw in some Baklava chunks, that would be heavenly. Why don't you suggest it to Ben and Jerry? Fun blog and great pix!

Oh, me too. I had baklava twice. Dream about it always.

Wow - good for you on your weight loss success, Robert. That is fantastic. I have never tried marzipan - looks too sweet for me - but in the same breath I will admit that baklava is a bit of heaven on a plate, in my sticky hand, on my tongue, in my belly... ;-) Thanks for sharing some facts.

Robert, cooking and sex... I heartily agree! But I must say, reading something steamy like a lot of what we write can definitely put me in the mood, as well. ;)
