But I am going into podcasting again, so who knows, maybe I'll cover this in a future podcast :)

Deena, if you think you're ready, you might want to try find a 'ghost hunt' in your area, take a friend who doesn't mind their hand being squeezed to death, and a big torch! Ghost Hunts are a nice little introduction into 'possibilities' if you find a good one. Ask for some recomendations, because some are bogus :) and all you're likely to run into is someone telling you the dust orbs you just photographed are spirits. Yup, always go one recomendation.
Maybe you'll find something here:
http://www.ghostvillage.com/links/links_ghosttours.shtml

Or check out
http://www.prairieghosts.com/links.html

Another thing you could do for a wee introduction, is go on a ghost tour. It's tough, I have loads of recomendations for you in the UK, but that's no good to you. LOL

Good luck, hope you find something if you decide to take the plunge. Hey, be good research material for a book!JoAnne Kenrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15234275353277804224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7738883619831401054.post-53836905865862622342010-12-01T00:37:15.687-05:002010-12-01T00:37:15.687-05:00You've met ghosts?! Blue is the color of professional healers like doctors, psychologists etc.. Usually people who wear blue a lot are really selfless when it comes to listening to a friend in need of a shoulder. You'll do anything to help a friend, anything within your power -- but when the shoe is on the other foot, you tend to not want to bother your friends with your troubles. You have to be 'asked' what's wrong before you spill the beans, or have your arm twisted LOL

And you are a really great friend, always there for me :) Which is why I wasn't surprised you wear blue a lot :) Hmmm my author interview turned into a color therapy session hehe Ahhh well. It is interesting, so I don't mind.JoAnne Kenrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15234275353277804224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7738883619831401054.post-64402741509996902702010-11-30T11:16:22.599-05:002010-11-30T11:16:22.599-05:00Well Blue is my favorite color, and makes my eyes ...Well Blue is my favorite color, and makes my eyes more blue too, lol. Purple is a fab color, I love it :) Usually, people who enjoy wearing purple are aware of their connection to the universe -- e.g. have strong beliefs, in touch with the spiritual side of life, or know what their direction is, what they want out of life etc...! ((hugs)) thanks for coming by and commenting xxx

@Ciar, LOL yellow is putrid, I really don't like to look at it, or how it makes me feel. But when I was younger, and skinnier, used to wear it a lot -- it suits me when I'm tanned. Especially the more mustard-type tones. I expect you met some interesting people :)

There is a really good book, if you want to learn the basics on Color Therapy -- and it comes with the color cards (how to read them too) and cute little bottles of Aura-Soma, which is color therapy with aromatherapy. Aura-Soma was created by a blind lady, of all things, called Vicki Wall.
The book/kit is called 'The Color Box', and it's by Lori Reid. I think Amazon stock it, if your interested :) I love it, color therapy made simple!JoAnne Kenrickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15234275353277804224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7738883619831401054.post-58949488705628160052010-11-30T00:31:56.041-05:002010-11-30T00:31:56.041-05:00A color therapist? I think it's wonderful that you found a way to intergrate everything you've learned into your book.

Now, I don't wear yellow either, but it's because it goes badly with my complection.
